Rang today 18/01/23. Told receptionist i was in alot of pain as my back has gone. Needed to talk to the doctor as im taking naproxen to manage the pain. Was told i would get a call this afternoon. Rang back at 1700 to find out its training afternoon. So hear i am still in pain with no call. This happened last August when i was told they called and i didnt answer but the phone was with me at all times. Please dont tell me this , this time ive been laid on my setee for 3 days and my phones been with me at all times. How am i feeling in alot of pain and annoyed im getting nowhere.

I always find reception extremely helpful and would like to acknowledge that they often have to deal with difficult patients. I would like to offer feedback on my recent appointment with a nurse for update on travel vaccines. I asked if I needed malaria tablets for visiting Sri Lanka and her advice took me aback. She said that I should go into Boots and ask them “as they are very good”. I believe the advice she should have given me was to look on the NHS travel website which gives full information on requirements for every country.
