    Called in to surgery and got appointment, for my elderly relative, that same afternoon. Saw a doctor who was extremely efficient, polite and kind, overall a very pleasant experience. Well done Mersea Island Surgery Thankyou

    How has it got to the situation you are in now? Why does a patient have to call up over 50 times just to get a an answer! I have seen proof that it took somebody 288 phone calls before they got an answer. Even then they got told that no appointments are available. I was given a phone appointment and the doctor was not even able to book me into see my GP or give me any prescriptions or help so the phone appointment was just a waste of time and NHS money. The staff are also rude and make it seem like you are wasting time when I have just got out of hospital and need medical care.

    Have a very sore throat due to COVID not able to eat or sleep with it. Over the counter products not working so phoned 8:00 am engaged, phone answered 8:15 told all appointments taken. Phoned 111 explained symptoms, the person I spoke to put me on hold and contacted the surgery to see if a Doctor would give me a call back. They refused to do so and told 111 that I should try again in the morning. Atrocious way to treat people.
