Following CT scan I was contacted and the whole results were explained in detail. This helped me to understand the ongoing issues and treatment.

Review titled I've always had excellent care at Werrington Village Surgery
Rated 5 stars out of 5

My personal experience with treatment for COPD at the surgery My experience of Werrington Village Surgery has always been positive, and I feel extremely well cared for by the team there. I've been extremely ill on a few occasions, and will forever be grateful for the care the doctors and nursing staff at the surgery provided before, during and after my illness. They've given me oxygen when I've arrived for an appointment feeling unwell. They once called an ambulance to take me to hospital directly from their surgery. I didn't realise how ill I was, but the doctors did immediately, and got me the specialist treatment I needed. My condition was diagnosed because of the tests the doctors at the surgery had done. They followed up on my treatment with video calls, and arranged for a community nurse to visit my home. They send me text messages to come in for appointments, and even the surgery pharmacist called me once to discuss some tablets I'd been prescribed. The surgery is clean, has parking, I always get an appointment when I phone in. There are plenty of tests and follow ups. The service is really good. The staff have always been polite and respectful to me. So I don't know what went wrong for the people leaving negative reviews, I can only speak from my own experience. I would recommend Werrington Village Surgery 100% without any hesitation.

Been with this surgery since 2022 and can’t get appointments plus I’m on meds and they haven’t once called me in for a review on tablets 🤷♀️when I lived Crewe the docs would put a note on tablets saying I needed to make appointment before next meds they were good and looked after you. This surgery is not good.

I am sorry that this is your experience of the surgery. We have listened to our patients with regards to access to appointments. From October 2024 we introduced a new appointment system where all requests are triaged and appointments allocated on priority of need rather than first come first served. We have an online triage form on website or our reception team will complete the form on your behalf if you do not have internet access. We have a schedule for medication reviews. I would be very grateful if you could contact the practice manager so we can look into this matter for you.

Review titled Absolutely shocking

Where to start, refused to see and told to call 999 even though it wasn’t an emergency, discharged from hospital and didn’t read the discharge letter for over 10 days and only then because we needed a repeat prescription and even though I had to phone to ask if meds had been charged I’m then told you can’t order repeat prescriptions over the phone Then because they don’t read discharge letters properly they sent the wrong drugs order to the pharmacy, thankfully the pharmacy are fab and realised so asked me to go through the meds The only reason we stay there is because the pharmacy next door are so good
