    I am surprised this practise has not been shut down. Horrible reception staff and GPs. Unsafe for patients.

    Dear Patient, Although feedback is always welcome at the practice, it should be proportionate, measured and specific. It is difficult to be able to do much with your feedback as firstly it is anonymous, so we are unable to respond to you directly. We also don’t think it is proportionate or measured to say we are the ‘worst practice in the area’ and have ‘horrible reception staff and GPs’? We would welcome hearing from you on what metrics or incidents you have based these generalised and absolute statements on. It is also not accurate to say we are ‘unsafe for patients’ when our very recent CQC inspection says the opposite. If you are interested in discussing your experiences at the practice in a constructive way, please don’t hesitate to contact us where we will be happy to assist.

    Absolute shambles this place you Never get an appointment no matter what time u ring Receptionsist never answer the phone and No manager/owner to speak to, Upto 50/60 calls at one time but no answer,this surgery should be closed down

    Hi Raheela, Thank you for your feedback. My name is Victoria, and I am the Practice Manager here at Werneth Medical Practice. I am sorry you have felt the need to post a negative review and that you have felt this way. As you can appreciate as with every practice, on the day emergency appointments and the telephone lines are extremely busy each morning. Patients always have the option to pre book an appointment with a GP and we now have further access to services for patients with a GP at a health center. Due to the amount of telephone calls received it might be worth noting that we do also have a set number of appointments available to book online with a GP.
