  1. Review titled Awful practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

Been at this practice for 26 but finally had enough, the dr thinks it is appropriate to text diagnosis’ to patients with potentially life changing information. Reception staff are rude and can’t seem to organise anything between them.

Absolutely disgusting attitude ...especially by the receptionists who clearly have no idea that if a patient calls up asking to see the doctor ( I've been with this practice 20+ years btw) it doesn't give them reason to play god or talk down to us as if we are children. I called up asking to see a doctor. Reception said you can have a triage appt. Fair enough...filled in the form reqd...2 weeks later still waiting. Called them again. Reception said she's added name on doctors list so you will get a call tomoz. Guess what? No phone call. Called again. She said fill in form that gets sent to you and he will call. Once again no phone call. Called again . Reception said you can have a appt tomoz at 8.30 in morning. I explained its not possible due to work....could you give me a appt at any evening any day after 4pm. Not possible was the reply. I asked what time its open till? 6.30 but that time after 4 is for admin. Unbelievable Then I found out it wouldn't be the doctor...it would be the nurse I woukd see. Atrocious arrogant ignorant staff. I will join another practice.

  3. Review titled Rude reception staff

I had a prescription to collect. When I called one day in the morning asking if the prescription was ready, I was replied, 'it is ready, you can collect it'. So I went in the afternoon the same day to collect it. When I reached the centre I found the front door closed and locked. On top of the door there was a sign informing, 'if you find the door locked please ring the call bell'. So rang the bell and someone responded through the speaker and I said I came to collect the prescription. Immediately this person said, 'can you read the sign on the centre of the door?'. I then looked at the centre of the door and read out to her what was written on a white paper sheet 'the centre is closed today from 14.00hrs'. Then she said, so we are closed today'. I don't think that is the way you should talk to someone. A few weeks later I phoned to enquire the reception about the repeat prescription. I had submitted an online repeat prescription form some days ago and had not received any response from them. This time the reception staff attended my call and I told her about the form I had submitted and enquired what had happened. She said said she would find out and then replied, 'it is ready to collect' to which I replied 'okay' and was going to ask her in the same breath till what time are you open today. But the micro second I said 'okay' the line was cut from the other side. I expect better service from the reception staff. The nurse practitioners there are fabulous.

  4. Review titled Good practice...Very unkind receptionist

I quite like this practice as the staff has always been very accommodating and helpful with the exception of a single reception staff who's always extremely rude, abrasive. and never very helpful.
