    It was easy to get an appointment via the triage. Dr C was kind and efficient as always and staff were polite and friendly. The surgery always looks bright, airy and clean. Thank you

    Took my partner to Vine House reception on 5th June as we were on the allotment and she had become unwell making us both extremely concerned due to her previously having been in hospital with e coli sepsis following 2 years chemo. The receptionist flatly refused to help saying it was not a walk in surgery and we should go home. We eventually got home and I called 999 where the ambulance took her to A&E. She was in hospital for 6 months with pneumonia, fluid on her left lung, Picc line and kidney stent infections. We were told that if I had not made the call she was going into a coma and was dying. Make your own decisions but I now have a deep loathing of this surgeries' attitude and the receptionist concerned.

    After contacting NHS 111, I had a telephone appointment (at my request as I was highly infectious) followed by an in-person appointment later in the week. Both doctors listened and were very thorough. I was impressed and very happy with how I was treated.

    Since may last year suffering from chronic sciatica, some days can barely walk . Have tried on so many occasions to get a face to face doctors appointments, have had one 3 minute phone conversation with doctor, only pain relief prescriptions, no X-ray no referral for injection or nerve sealed I have asked for a doctors appointment less than 5 times over 15 years and yet when need one can’t be seen. Served my country for many years and still can’t get to see a doctor This surgery is a disgrace

  5. Review titled Great Doctors, Receptionists are rude.

    I have nothing but positive things to say about the doctors and the care they provide, although the receptionists seem to be letting the practice down. I have seen various reviews regarding the same thing and from today I can see why. I was on hold for 45 minutes regarding an urgent prescription request to when I was finally through to the practice to be greeted by attitude immediately. I explained my situation that I needed my medication urgently to the response of ‘ok and?’ Which I thought was extremely rude. To then be told there’s nothing they can do for me. Basic manners and respect should be mandatory in the training for customer service workers especially when I was nothing but polite over the phone. Needs sorting out.

    I can never get through to the surgery, they never answer the phone. Today I sat on hold for 20 mins being constantly informed that I am ‘Number 1’ in the queue. It’s quite obvious that they just weren’t picking up any calls. I am sick and tired of never being able to book an appointment over the phone!

    Vine House gets a lot of negative comments. Just want to say that the treatment I received yesterday was excellent. After going for a health review yesterday the nurse noticed something that needed immediate attention and arranged for me to see a doctor straight away.
