Thank you for this feedback. We are sorry you have experienced such difficulty in getting through to the Practice. We are quite sure that you are aware of the demand on the NHS in general at this moment in time and we are working hard to make improvements wherever possible along with the Government. Please know we offer the facility of E-Consult from our website.

  2. Review titled Friendly, efficient and caring

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have seen two GPs and an HCA and had various communication with administrative staff. Everyone is extremely kind and helpful and the practice is coping admirably under sustained pressure.

  3. Review titled Fobbed off

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Really unhappy today as i called to ask for an alternative HRT patch as the one on the prescription in the pharmacy is out of stock. I am not sure if the receptionist is new but i was told i couldn't have an alternative prescription, that there were no doctors or pharmacists available and that the pharmacist should have suggested something. I would still need a new prescription even if they had! Not great really especially as i am struggling with the menopause! Avoid this surgery!

I'm sorry to learn that your experience was not a positive one. Can I ask that you contact the surgery and ask to speak to the Deputy Practice Manager so that I can ensure your prescription is completed, and work out what happened. Thank You

  4. Review titled Poor service

Rated 1 star out of 5

Over the last year they have improved their receptionist from rude, unwilling to help and often bullying staff but now it seems they gatekeep whether you can see a GP. It's such a shame as it's clear they are all doing their best but GPs seem to have no spaces, the receptionist tell you 'no' if they don't think your problem is serious enough. And even when you make it clear that it is, considering pain and that you're a vulnerable person they still fob you off. Would not recommend.

  5. Review titled Exemplary care for difficult patient

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Meg Graham - Posted on 29 June 2022

I've always had reasonable to excellent care at the practice. but recently, since my condition has deteriorated a little and with new conditions to treat I've felt very much better served. I am aware I can be a difficult patient at times with my pain levels and brain fog causing a loss of awareness such that I can present as forceful or moody. Often my speech can be unclear and confusing too yet recently I've been treated exceptionally well. Today I had two fnd (nead) episodes in the surgery and everything swung into action. My partner says it felt like a well oiled wheel. I remember very little but he was greatly impressed. I came to laying on their couch with my partner sat beside me. I was given a cup of tea and 2 chocolate treats! Can't go wrong with a chocolate roll and a kitkat! I'd like to thank everyone involved in my care today. I even had someone support my partner in escorting me to the car. Amazing! Thank you!
