I wanted to make an appointment for myself and my son as we were unwell every time I called they either hung up, or answered and said that it’s fully booked “call back later” . Just rude as they would hang up the phone whilst I was talking and wouldn’t listen to me when I came in the reception.

I had a consultation and the GP was very friendly and explained everything in a very concise and clear manner.

I called today on Friday 8th September 2023 at 13:07 and whoever the receptionist was was very rude. She got impatient and then hung up the phone on me as I was trying to speak. I wasn't rude to her, Yet she raised her voice and wasn't interested in my concern. I really hope these reviews are read, and whoever the receptionist is - that many people have had issues with is atleast given further training and placed somewhere more suited for her dreadful attitude.

Review titled Insufficient Coverage on Friday

The public is really struggling to obtain GP appointments and the Nordic Family Practice at Victoria Health Centre only does appointments until 3.30pm on a Friday. How does this help us get urgent appointments for children after school ? Such practices really need to be audited as it is not in the interest of the public or children where they need to be taken out of school to miss out on their education.

I have been a patient here for a number of years and I find the reception staff in particular very unapproachable and unhelpful. In March in particular the receptionist asked my condition, I gave her a long list of my problems and told her I had been trying to get an appointment for three months only to be told there’s nothing she could do. A nurse walked past and heard the conversation and rectified the issue and got me an appointment for the same day with a doctor. The receptionist didn’t even try! My notes clearly show I’m am a complex patient and I told her as such but she showed no care or compassion! I now have anxiety making appointments because of this

I called the GP regarding medications and the receptionist was extremely rude and had a lot of attitude. I tried explaining my problem and they cut the call on me.

i waited well over 75 minutes fr them to answer a call, i gave up. i was trying to advise of someone who could not attend their appointment after being hospitalised. i was unable to do this. utter disgrace
