Was told to ring at 8 am to get an urgent appointment, never got through permanently engaged, when i did get through i was 14 in the queue. I have now given up. If this practice is so busy to the point that patients cannot get to see a GP what is the point of them and why are they saying they are taking new patients when they obviously cannot cope and then they moan because they are so much under pressure.

We are continually looking into ways of making patient access better and currently are looking into updating our phone systems. Phoned today at 8am was 2nd in the queue, after 15min someone answered, only to be told there are no appointments available today.. still your telling me the 2 people before me took all appointments…? Useless service

I was trying to book an appointment. It is almost impossible to call them in the morning and get an appointment. Decided to call at 1.30pm on Friday. When called them I was position number 9 in the queue. After 43 minutes I was finally connected. Unfortunatelly there is no available appointment. Really poor service.

For over 20 years I have been using this practise and I am dismayed at the negative comments I have seen. I have always been treated in a caring and professional manner by all staff, receptionists, nurses and Dr’s. It is a busy practice but a good practice is always going to be busy! And I have always in the past been able to get an emergency appointment when I have needed one. Thank you to all the staff working at both practices. I witnessed today some of the abuse aimed at a receptionist and was disgusted by the way people think they have the right to be obnoxious. Please all the staff know that you are appreciated for your empathy and patience dealing with the public, and that you are highly valued!

Spoke to receptionist, arranged a call from Doctor, spoke to doctor sent a photo she rang me back and asked me to attend the surgery. All in the same day , the receptionist is friendly, non judgmental, and very efficient. Short wait to see Doctor who was kind, friendly and listened to what I had to say .

My only concern is the new prescription service doesn't seem to be working. I have to sometimes request items on numerous occasions before they arrive at the pharmacy

I was in the waiting room at the Victoria Practice this morning when a very angry and loud patient came in continued to berate the receptionist for some considerable time about waiting times on the phone etc. I was very impressed at how the receptionist and then the Dr remained calm and polite in spite of very difficult circumstances. Keep up the good work.

Had a consultation today and was made to feel like an inconvenience for trying to get to the bottom of my problem. Really disappointed in how insensitive this dr was.

Myself and my family have had ongoing excellent care from the Mapperley branch of this practice for many years. This year we have consulted more than ever before and we have had a combination of telephone and face to face appointments. We have been directed to appointments at gp+ when there were no appointments left at vamp sites. I feel the gp's and reception staff were excellent at every contact. The waiting time on the phone is the likely to be the same as every practice in Nottingham. Not much we can do about that! I had a physio appointment at the surgery and I was very pleased with Hilton, who assessed me thoroughly and gave me a rehab plan Please keep up the good work!

Never had anything other than excellent care here in the 3 years I've been a patient. Doctors have actively familiarised themselves with my records before appointments and I've never struggled to get an appointment. They're doing a great job in what must be very difficult circumstances. Highly recommended.
