    I popped into the surgery today to see if I could get a physio appointment (my friend told me of this service and how good she thought it was). Got there at 8:30 and the receptionist said there was an opening in 10min! The physio was amazing -really knowledgeable and helpful. The receptionist as also so nice, friendly and helpful. There is so much negative press about access to primary care, but this is really amazing! Whatever you are doing at the surgery it is brilliant!

    Short and useless consultation with Dr. s g who barely asked any relevant questions or showed any interest in understanding my condition. Tried to explain the different symptoms I have been experiencing for the past 3 months but she cut me mid sentence to tell that she « only treats one issue at a time ». Did not inform me on anything I didn’t already know. Only useful thing that came out of it is booking me for a blood test which I suggested. Super disappointing service.

GP appointments are 12 minutes and we do ask patients to book a double slot if they wish to discuss more than one matter.     Yet again yesterday I had to have a Blood Test which is something that is needed every 3 months because of my medication. Each time, the Lady who does the blood tests is very nice, polite and friendly. Also a bonus that she does not hurt. I have actually been with this practice for about 19 years now and have found all the staff from the Reception to the Doctor's and Nurses to be great. Ok sometimes I have to wait for an appointment but never really have to wait that long. What really annoys me though is the patients in the waiting room on their mobile phones. I have seen more than one person glued to their phones and miss seeing their name on the board. They then get angry with the Receptionist. Mobile phones should be switched off on entering the practice and stay that way until you have left.

    Pleasant staff and have always been seen relatively quickly. The online service works well - I don’t mind that may not be seen for a day or so as long as someone gives a call which normally they do

    Just been left in tears from a telephone appointment with a doctor here who was brusque, not really listening. I was basically cut short in trying to explain my problem, told I had a different condition and then told to look it up online.

    The practice has gone done hill so much in the last 4 years. It's unbelievable. Can never get an appointment online or an e-consultation. And A + E won't help because it's not an emergency in there eyes. So what are patients supposed to do?

    Thank you for your comments. We are sorry that you are finding the current situation so frustrating. We are doing our best to provide a good and safe service for our patients. In the past five years our patient numbers have more than doubled, and recruitment challenges mean that we have not been able to keep pace with the speed of growth. We are trying to recruit more GPs and nurses but this is not easy and we are very aware that it is difficult at the moment for our patients to access routine appointments quickly. If your problem is urgent, we have a duty doctor system operating every day, but once those appointments are taken, you will be redirected to 111 or A&E. We share your frustration at the current situation, which is unsatisfactory for all concerned. Regards Vanbrugh Group Practice

    I had a good call from one of the daily call physicians there. She listened and asked thoughtful questions for a long term ailment I was experiencing and was obviously knowledgable on the subject. She then provided a prescription and a follow up appointment within the hour. She left me feeling like I have my health under control.

    First of all, to get through to reception, it's almost impossible. the waiting times, being held in a queue, it's ridiculous! and then, when i finally got through, the receptionist, who couldn't hear me properly, apparently (I say apparently, as i was making so many other calls and everyone heard me just fine, no issues there, so the problem might be actually with the Practice's phone lines!), after getting my details, simply hang up on me!!!! i find it very rude and unacceptable! i would at least expect her to call back, seeing that she managed to get my details! but no, i had to call again and been kept in a long queue again! and then again she had the same problem, couldn't hear me. managed to get my appointment booked in the end, but i kept telling her, whenever she could somehow hear me, to not hung up, but she was very annoyed and kind of rude. What they need is some training on how to even talk to patients. i myself work for NHS too, in one of the hospitals in the City and i never talk to ''my'' patients the way she was talking to me, and we get so many very angry patients...also, waiting times for an appointment, another ridiculous thing! i have to wait now 4 weeks for something that need to be addressed asap!!! totally unacceptable!!! you guys should train your staff. after all they are the face of the Practice!

    Appointments are scarcely available. The prefer to do everything by phone citing COVID, which is frustrating given restrictions have been lifted. When you get an appointment, GP often starts very late, which is understandable, but when the patient is slightly late they cancel the appointment. Staff are unhelpful and unsympathetic.
