    A blood test included some troubling measures and outcomes. The GP got in touch with me immediately that she received the results, arranged an appointment for the next morning, did some further tests and sent me to A&E for urgent assessment. She rang ahead to the hospital so that they were expecting me. My diagnosis requires additional appointments with different medical staff at the surgery. These have all been arranged speedily, and the care and attention I have been shown by everyone at the surgery has been first class. Interactions with the reception team, nurses, health assistants and GPs have all been excellent and I'm very grateful to them all. They have been patient explaining medical issues to me, and checking to make sure that I have the medication and care plan in place that I need. I couldn't have asked for more. Huge thanks to all.

    After waiting 10 days for a certain Doctor to phone me another Doctor phoned instead with results from a Liver scan. After questions about my weight ( was 15 st 4lb Jan 1st now 14 st 3lb Mar 1st ) I was told by this Doctor that she would seek advice from Gastro expert but in the meantime lose another 30 kilograms. This would take me under 10 stone when the fit weight for my height is up to 13 st. 10. When I questioned how this was achievable I was told not to eat before 12 and after 6. I hope the Gastro team come up with something better or even the Doctor who requested this ultrascan could Confirm recommendation for their stand in.
