    I attended after speaking to 111 and was very well received and helped. Very efficient in all respects and reassured by the nurse practitioner I saw. Thank you.

    Today I was unable to get my 6 yr old seen by my own gp. I followed the phone first system, within minutes I got a phone call back offering an appointment. From that phone call to a really friendly receptionist til getting seen by a DR was little over one hour. With lots of talk about waiting times etc, the service my daughter received was unbelievable, with little or no fuss. Regards from a very thankful mummy!

    I attended as directed by 111 The reception team were efficient and reassuring during the short wait to be seen. I have never met a Doctor at the end of his shift have so much care and compassion. He was patient and caring and gave me reassurance whilst I was quite unwell and distressed. People have a lot to learn from him and I hope he gets this feedback and realises how much I appreciated him! I can’t thank him enough! He got me to the right place at an appropriate time with care and support. Forever grateful Kerry

    had been sitting in this department for a few hours with a family member and the member of staff behind the reception is the rudest person I have ever encountered. She kept telling people to go to their doctor even though they had said their GP had referred them to A&E, at one point made anyone who wasn't a patient stand (which if busy I would understand) and shouted at us to say they where not chairs for us, the seats remained empty the duration of my stay. No real people skills, such a shame to be in a people industry to feel you have some sort of power over them.

    One staff member in particular was so rude and made me feel so uncomfortable being there. I had been referred to come and she made me feel like I was stupid for being there. She made the whole process so awful for me - and her attitude was vile. All she kept saying was ‘what do you want me to do about it’.

    Attended the utc as advised by the nurse i saw yesterday who was very insistant i go to be turned away with no concern at all by the person i spoke to. Told to go to my gp (it being a saturday this advice is completely useless and working full time and appointment is impossible). Pharmacist also said further investigation is required yet completely disregarded by the utc staff member. In an awful lot of pain and she even had the nerve to tell me it cant be that bad if i can text (i cant drive so had to arrange being picked up) honestly disgusted by the lack of care and respect by this staff member specifically. Usually they are great but this experience puts me off using the service again. Felt like i was a nuisance rather than someone who needs help! Left incredibly upset.

    The NHS Staff at Morecambe Urgent Care / Walk In Centre were all brilliant this morning. In, assessed, x-rayed, diagnosed, booted and out within 2 hours. Everyone from Reception onwards were outstanding. Many thanks for your friendly care and professionalism.

    I arrived for an appointment at 5pm with a suspected broken toe. By 7.30 I was home again, having had an Xray, a diagnosis, advice, and effective treatment, despite delays at the centre due to emergencies. Every member of staff I met was friendly and helpful. I was very impressed and very grateful.

    I was visiting family in Morecambe, having moved away from Britain nearly twenty years ago, and broke my big toe. I think it was all of 90 minutes from my stepmum phoning the surgery to my having finished x-rays and been sent home in a boot. Everyone I interacted with was brilliant, making it all really easy despite my not being a local resident. The lady from the front desk in X-ray even chased us down to give us a shortcut back to Urgent Treatment, saving me hobbling about in the rain. I live in America where even having access to healthcare is treated as a privilege, and I can guarantee that even the most expensive private healthcare plan there wouldn’t have been quicker, more efficient, or more pleasant than this. I’m truly grateful to them for taking care of me kindly and showing the wonderful National Health Service at its very best.

    Arrived with burns to my hands and the clinic was very busy. I was dealt with immediately and within 5 minutes I was receiving treatment. The two practitioners who assessed my injuries were professional and very friendly. The lady who gave me my treatment was absolutely fantastic. As an ex nurse I was so impressed with her skill, communication and general care. I’m not allowed to name her but I hope one of the management team will check on who treat me and feed back to her my comments. I hope this practioner is valued as she is a credit to your team.

    Many thanks Fran for your great comments, I have passed this on to the team as this certainly gives them a boost in current pressurised times. Our aim is to always treat patients as we would want ourselves or relatives to be treated.
