    The Dr who home visited my father was so professional, understanding and calm throughout his visit. He sorted out the things he said he would and without any delay might I add.

    I have had numerous poor experiences with Tower. The most recent being yesterday, rang at 8am, frustrating listening to all the messages when I just want to speak to someone. Accepted the offer of a callback, 98 in the queue!!! Finally got my callback to be told “sorry no appointments available today you need to ring at 8am” 🤬. The receptionist advised - Try the pharmacy, Ring 111, Ring the out of hours tomorrow 🤷🏼‍♀️. Out of hours doctors do not have access to your medical records so are quite often unable to help 😡. Tottington used to be a great surgery, very personal, friendly, knowledgeable about their patients, not anymore, now you have to get through the ‘trained’ reception team 🤦🏼‍♀️ the medically UNTRAINEd reception team who get to decide whether your request is urgent or NOn-urgent.

    I contacted the surgery regarding my husband who has dementia. I was spoken to by a Dr who listened patiently and said he would send someone from the mental health team to do an assessment. He rang back 2 minutes later to say the mental health team couldn't visit for weeks and he would come to the house and do the assessment himself. He gave me a time and arrived promptly. He is now able to prescribe medication for my husband once the nurse has been to take some blood. He has also notified the Social welfare mental health team to visit me and discuss my options. This doctor is a remarkable and compassionate man and an asset to your surgery.

    I am a bed ridden patient and from day one of coming home the staff and doctors have been amazing patient and kind I rang the surgery last week and within two hours a doctor had rang me back and prescribed antibiotics which was delivered next day

    My midwife sent an email to the practice advising iron tablets, and from processing to prescribing, it was all done within 24 hours, with a text message from the doctors about the prescription being sent. I was very impressed!

    No longer have to wait in telephone queue due to new innovation of ring back where you receive a text message to let you know where you are in the queue. Rang today to make an appointment, knew exactly where I was in the queue by checking my text. My call back came fairly quickly and appointment all sorted. Great service well done Tower !

    Rang the surgery to request some blood tests, told the receptionist my symptoms and that I thought it might be IBS or Coliec disease. Although she could see on my record that I had been to A&E days before, she replied “As it is Not Urgent !! I will get the nurse to call you next Tuesday 🤦🏼‍♀️. Rang my mum in tears who ended up demanding to speak to my own surgery and then to complaints and complaints manager (not a typo). My doctor receptionist was very helpful and triaged her more urgently. Doctor rang later that evening, examined over the telephone 🤦🏼‍♀️, advised blood tests, but still no offer of Face to Face. Wednesday ended up back in A&E, outcome possible Gastrointestinal. Third visit on Saturday resulted in ultrasound and waiting for endoscopy 🤷🏼‍♀️…,, Not Urgent 🤔 absolute waste of time 😡

    I had a call back from a GP at 5:25 & he promised I would have someone from physio call me next day. After a couple of phone calls the next day I was seen by a lovely physiotherapist, had a half hour session & was emailed some exercises to do at home. A great big thankyou to everyone that dealt with me.

    Been with this practice a long time. Never had a problem with appointments and staff always obliging. Recently had a health scare involving further tests at hospital and the Gp and Reception staff went above and beyond to reassure me and get everything done in a timely way so I could go on a long planned trip of a lifetime. I cannot praise them enough and am still grateful for their help

    Had appointment with physiotherapist that was good. He was concerned with some issues with my health and after his session he asked me to wait in the surgery until he could get a doctor tom see me. A doctor did see me , after an examination did reassure me about the concerns.
