    Excellent surgery. I am so impressed with the service I received last week and the quick response from GP’s . Tuesday morning I got a call and spoke to a Doctor, as I was so poorly with possible food poisoning and then today because I was still very ill I completed the e consult and a Doctor called back very quickly at 10am and I was tested and seen by 11am. Both times dealt with care, friendliness and compassion, couldn’t ask for a better service from the surgery! All the staff there have always been extremely helpful, efficient and understanding.

    I was referred to this practice by the pharmacist . The receptionist was really busy but listened carefully, explained the latest system all practices now follow nationally. The receptionist provided me with the appropriate material and was so patient when I decided to fill out the online form on my phone When I had some difficulties completing it the receptionist patiently endeavoured to find support The outcome was that I was triaged by a wonderful practitioner and I had the appropriate medication that day, before the week end Thank you

    Have had occasion to contact the Centre in the last fortnight. Used the new internet form and got super fast help. One doctor was in touch quickly and sorted my problem there and then, thoroughly. Had different problem today, form filled, examined quickly and treatment given. What a difference, great improvement! I haven’t seen a doctor for a long time, but this system is superb! Thank you.

    Been patient of this surgery for over 20 years & sadly it is not a patch on what it used to be. The doctors can be very dismissive and often “talk over you” when you are trying to explain your symptoms. They seem very impatient and keen to get you either off the phone or out the door. This is quite a worrying situation as not actively listening to your patients could result in key information being missed and potential harm being caused. I do not feel listened to at all and now considering moving my Health care to another practice.

    I have been in a bad way for 20 years now but having toddington medical centre on my side has made my life so much easier, we are blessed in Toddington. I always receive courteous , helpful and empathetic . conversations with the staff and they go the extra mile to make my life easier. Getting results in time for Royal Marsden consultation is sometimes critical and I’m never let down. So grateful am I that I have been known to take in chocolates or flowers. Well done toddington medical centre Thank you

  7. Review titled Rude Receptionist

    I have found both face to face and phone interactions with one receptionist disappointing. On 3 occasions I have found the receptionist to be dismissive and lacking in empathy and basic people skills. As a front line representative for patients, this person should posses those 2 basic skills. Unfortunately, this current receptionist doesn't. My wife has experienced the same issue.

    Refreshing surprise when I visited. Charming & helpful receptionist & kind caring & efficient nurse. I hear tell if I'm quiet & patient I may be lucky & spot the shy & elusive creature called a GP!

    I had a follow up appointment to investigate my condition after a course of antibiotics. The doctor was genuinely concerned for my well-being and was methodical and thorough in his diagnosis. He asked all the right questions and actually listened to my answers. This was by far the best GP I have encountered, I could not thank him enough. The screening process to get me an emergency appointment worked seamlessly, receptionist was professional in her approach. Overall an excellent experience and a model for patient care as far as I am concerned.
