I would like to compliment Tinkers Lane on a recent interaction. I was phoned by by a GP at a convenient pre-arranged time. The doctor was through and gave a clear explanation of my situation and sent a text to confirm everything she has done. Thank you reception staff and doctor helping me.

  2. Review titled Really Supportive

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I’m suffering with really bad morning sickness, including throwing up constantly. I’ve been on the phone in floods of tears unable to get my words out for the last couple of weeks. It’s become debilitating and depressing at this point. The reception staff are so understanding and patient with me. They arrange call backs with the triage nurse the same day. She’s also really kind, understanding and reassuring. I was arranged to see the dr on the first call I made. He was helpful and nice to me. I understand this isn’t a third world problem but I was struggling so bad. The sickness continued to escalate and I asked for a sick note. This was given to me without any problems. I called again to have this note extended. Again issued straight away. This sounds like basic, caring good service you’d expect from your surgery. After speaking to others in my position, I realise just how lucky I am and that the above help I received seems to be a luxury. I really appreciate the support I’ve had these last couple of weeks from everyone at Tinkers lane. I honestly wouldn’t have been able to cope without the help I’ve had. Thank you

  3. Review titled Needs Improvement

Rated 1 star out of 5

The surgery staff are friendly but highly pressured. The surgery has often failed to meet my basic medical needs a number of times, failures have been made to dispense the correct prescriptions in a timely manner and routine GP appointment waiting times are much higher than the national average. One particular time i was suffering with acute anxiety with an immediate threat to my life and i was told to wait over a month for an appointment to be medicated, 111 had to intervene and reprimand them before they understood the seriousness of the situation. Miraculously an appointment free'd up immediately after 111 intervened after i was told there was a 0% possibility of seeing anybody at all for the next 4 weeks.
