    All staff care and are more than happy to help. They take their time with you, listen and understand. They are thorough with their medical practice. Thank you.

    Had to take two days off work, one for a "consultation" and one for a blood test which was a follow up. Explicitly requested to the clinician that folate and B12 needed rechecking, as they were borderline low. Clinician agreed. Went for blood test, now told that folate and B12 wasn't requested. I hate blood tests and have a strong needle phobia, but the practice casually want me to have another consultation and another blood test due to the incompetence of their staff. It's not rocket science. They have no direct email address to contact them in which you need to go through obscure channels to get in touch, clearly so it's easier for them. It's a disgrace, and now I have none of the blood test results that I need, but a random assortment of other ones.

    New doctor was very professional, caring and friendly. She spotted straight away what was wrong with my kids, did right referrals and prescribed right treatment, as previous medical staff wasn't able to identify and actually treated the wrong thing. I'm scared to imagine what would happened if I haven't met this doctor. Reception staff is also very helpful and friendly.

    I reported a medical problem on line this morning at 0800. I received a phone call shortly thereafter and an online appointment was made for an x-ray at the City Care Centre. I went for that 90 minutes later. In and out in 10 minutes. This afternoon I had a call from a nurse practitioner at the surgery with the results which were confirmed by text with a link to self-referral for physiotherapy. That online process was also excellent. All sorted in one day. Unbelievable! Many thanks.

    I had a wonderful experience at Thorpe Road Surgery. From the booking, initial tests, advice and follow up it was seamless. The new portal made it easy for an appointment to be made and I was called back quickly by my doctor.

    i was delighted to find out you were going to use the online system of contacting the practice for appointments. I have used a similar system for my parents. However their system actually works!! All the posters and flyers in your waiting room says "contact us in your own time", but unless that is between 8am and (often) 1pm, Monday to Friday, forget it !! I even went on their website to ask an "Admin" question which we used to be able to do at any time. That takes you to the same "Closed" system. I went on to give feedback on this system. When i clicked the Sad face, i went to the same "Closed" system. However when i clicked the happy face i was brought here!!! I really want this system to work as it should. We should be able to fill in the form Any day, including weekends, And any time not just during your working morning - just like your posters promised. I don't expect to get a call the same day if it is not urgent - that is OK. Just a quick acknowledgement by email or text that it has been received is fine. But i really can't be on the phone for ages and i cannot often be online during the morning, so this system is just not useful to me. I know you are strapped, i don't blame you for trying to smooth out the phone line problem and stop the receptionists from getting abuse they should not get. But this system is not what we were promised and it is not working for a lot of your customers, sorry patients. Please fix it or find a better system. By the way - your sitemap goes to a coding page instead of the correct page, perhaps your webmaster can fix that too :-)

    Dear Anonymous, Thank you for your feedback. I was sorry to hear that our new appointment system has not met your expectations, or that you found our promotional materials misleading. Our new appointments system does help us to manage demand more effectively, but regrettably, our service still has a limited capacity, and once our clinicians’ appointments are full, we cannot continue to offer more. Our online triage portal, therefore, remains open until our capacity is reached for the day. We are currently offering more appointments than ever before - almost double the recommended level of provision for a practice of our size - and yet we are still struggling to meet demand. If you would like to support us to offer more (and more convenient) access, please write to your MP to ask for their support in improving funding for general practice. The triage portal remains open for non-medical queries (including feedback) 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, except in times of extreme pressure. I apologise that this was unavailable when you tried to access it on 12th January. We will make contact with our website provider to try and ascertain why this might be, and what the error is with our sitemap. We are always looking at what we can do to improve our service. As you have posted this anonymously, we cannot contact you directly, but if you know of a practice offering better provision and access, please let us know so we can make contact and learn from them for the benefit of all of our patients.     Received a call about my issue and dealt with professionally. I was told that it would be dealt with within 48hours and 24hours later I received communication that it’s been referred and sorted. GPS are under extreme pressure but be rest assured this practice is doing its best well done to all.

    I have been at Thorpe Rd surgery for many years. Theres been highlights and lowlights. Recently they have changed their appointment booking system, which i thougth would be a shambles. To my surprise it worked a treat. I was able to book appointments on line for my mum and dad and i would get a face to face appointment very quickly. The surgery like many surgeries around the Uk have had some difficulties in regards to seeing the Drs. I must admit over the recent months i have been able to get sound advise and my parents seen to rapidly. Overall over the last few months we have experinced great service from the surgery

    Had an appointment today and it was a great experience. Advanced nurse practitioner listened carefully and gave really good advice. Also the lady on reception goes above and beyond for her patients

    Booking appointment through website is a great idea. I put in a request around 10:30 am, got a confirmation that I will be contacted by a clinician by 12 noon and spoke with doctor at 6 pm. He arranged a face to face meet and examination. Equally efficient and user friendly experience was met when I attended for a blood test at the surgery on 1 Nov. The surgery is definitely trying to excel and is ahead of many other surgeries based on my previous experience.
