    I have a kidney transplant and one of the medications I take as a side effects where it damages your skin, making you more susceptible to skin cancer. Every year I’m referred by the renal department at the hospital to the dermatologist to make sure that my skin is healthy. I recently moved to the Willowgroup who are refusing to refer me to the dermatologist. I don’t understand why this GP feels that they should keep gatekeep one specialist department from sending me to another specialist department. It’s organisations like this that are killing the NHS.

    Incredibly pleased with my recent experience with The Willow Group. I had suspected tonsillitis and submitted a Klinik form at 8:45am, received a text message asking me to send a photo at 11am, and had a call from a nurse practitioner at 11:15am who took a thorough history and prescribed antibiotics. Very impressed with the efficient service received. Thank you all for your hard work!

    Doctor not signing off repeat prescription in good time, first time had to resort to NHS 111 to get medication. Now for the second time have waited for 8 days, have in fact run out of one of the medications, no way to treat a 76 year old patient with a heart condition. Registering with new surgery as soon as possible.

    The Willow Group is no longer doing flu or covid jabs at any of its surgeries but the 'flu season' page on the website has not been updated to reflect this. If it was updated it would save people hanging on the phone forever only to be told that flu jabs are no longer available. Likewise it would save people making a trip to a surgery to make an appt. Can't comment on the covid jab page. What is the point of having a website if it is not updated with relevant and helpful information?

    Dear Patient, I am very sorry that you were informed that we are not doing flu vaccinations. We are still providing flu vaccination clinics. The clinics are slowing down due to winter pressures and staff sickness but we are adding clinics. We have finished our Covid vaccination clinics but patients can book by calling 119 or by using this link https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/book-coronavirus-vaccination. Housebound patients can also contact the Vaccine Operation Centre via hiowicb-hsi.vaccination.operations@nhs.net or 0300 561 0018 who will be able to help. I am very sorry that you were provided with the incorrect information. If you contact our team on hiowicb-hsi.willowgroup@nhs.net with your full name and date of birth they will be happy to book you in for your flu vaccination when there is an appointment on the system.
