   i live in Waltham with a doctor's surgery 1km from my house - so how come i need to travel a 24-mile round trip every time i need to make an appointment? Every time i go to book regular appointments (smear, flu etc... the only option is Bottesford. This totally negates the fact that we are meant to have a local GP in the village.

   Dear Patient Thank you for your recent feedback regarding the Surgery at Waltham. I am sorry that you have found it difficult to obtain an appointment at the surgery, as a branch site the surgery is open daily for half a day with a variety of health professionals running clinics. I do appreciate that appointments can be somewhat limited and on occasion it may be necessary to travel to either Harlaxton or Bottesford for particular services. The services that are offered through the branch sites are limited and we are currently undertaking a review of these in order to best meet our patients needs.
