I always receive a warm and professional response to my request. The Staff go the extra mile to help me. The Reception Staff are approachable and warm when entering the building. The Doctors are professional and caring. I have been with this surgery for seventy years and would not leave them. I feel the Staff both clinical and administrative are a credit to the NHS. We've recently transferred our care to the Weaverham Surgery I am a retired nurse and have worked with GP surgeries and other health care professionals for more than 30 years and feel qualified to say: ..... Staff at the Weaverham surgery are consistently caring and professional. The telephone system is the best I've ever encountered; it's informative, brief, and clear about the options available. The practice website is well constructed and user friendly with links to key information for patients. Staff are sensitive to individual needs and all interactions are non-judgmental and patient focused with easy access to the surgery and appointments. In my experience, there is consistently a quick turnaround from 1st contact with the receptionist to a conversation/appointment with the most appropriate clinical member of the team. I am always treated with dignity and respect, from initial contact - to an appointment with a clinician. Recently, within one hour of talking to the receptionist, I was called by the doctor, referred to two other professionals for further investigations, with a clear assessment plan resulting in "feeling safe in their hands". This is primary health care at its best.

Ring up told no appointments available and to try again on certain day as Dr needs to review. Spent 15 minutes waiting in queue on telephone and when you do get someone to answer offered appointment two weeks in future. Need Drs note for DWP as long term sick with mental health problems. Told to ring back again, asked to speak to practice manager but told doesnt take calls! Service from this surgery is getting worse and your treated appalling. Its not what someone needs that is struggling with mental health and just adds to their anxiety even more.

i phoned the surgery at 08:00 a.m. and although I was in a queue, I did not have to wait long.I described my problem to the receptionist who explained that one of the Doctors would phone me back. At 08:15 a.m. the Doctor phoned as promised and after my conversation with her, she very kindly provided a solution for treatment of my symptoms. This is what I would describe as exceptional service from start to finish.

I recently had to see a GP due to an acute problem. I was given a face to face appointment on the same day. The GP was very caring, listening carefully to all of my symptoms. She was very efficient, promptly referring me on for further investigations. I was very grateful for her considerate care.

Having been diagnosed with Cancer the practice have been outstanding. I had a call when diagnosed to check I was okay, knew my pathway , had my appointments. This call meant so much during those first few days to feel supported. Throughout the last few months the team have ensured that I had my medication and GP follow up appointments and requests acted upon swiftly and with great care during a very stressful time. Being treated with care and compassion is hugely important. When experiencing the trauma of a cancer diagnosis and knowing that someone is there and willing to help, especially knowing how busy they are, is reassuring . We moved as a family to the practice last year and found the whole team incredibly helpful. It just remains to say thank you.

I contacted the surgery on Tuesday 24th January who were very helpful. I spoke to a doctor on Friday morning 27th , over the phone the doctor asked me to go to the surgery, I was given a full examination, I found the doctor to be very professional and very caring. The doctor arranged a blood test urine test and an appointment at the hospital. Since then I have a hospital appointment at Leighton for 7th February. I am extremely happy with the service I have received, I think I was dealt in a very efficient way.

Always been treated with dignity and respect by frontline staff.The girls go the extra mile in order to ensure that I receive the right advice in reference to my requirements.Given the extreme challenges the GP surgeries are facing I can only speak for myself that I have total faith in my Medical Team m Weaverham Surgery. A sincere thankyou to all for doing your absolute best in caring for me.

Rang up at 8 with post covid chest infection by 9 had spoken to a lovely doctor and a prescription had been sent the chemist
