Following an initial consultation approx. 1 year ago I attended the surgery for a minor back operation to remove a lymphoma. As the procedure/diagnosis was deemed non urgent at the time of the consultation the wait for surgery was not a problem. I was advised that it was best to have the procedure now rather than delay and potentially have issues in the future. I was naturally a bit apprehensive but was made to feel very comfortable and the procedure went very smoothly. It was explained to me what would happen and all questions were answered. I was also advised re next steps and had/have total confidence in what I experienced.

The Doctor was very comforting with a great bedside manner. He thoroughly explained the procedure in a friendly and easy to understand manner. The procedure was efficient and painless with both the doctor and his assistant putting me at ease throughout. There was no wait and I’m confident I’ll receive any follow-up care if necessary

I was extremely nervous about the surgery, but the surgeon was very helpful in putting my mind at ease by explain in clear and concise detail the steps of the procedure which helped mitigate any fears I had. The surgeon and assistant were friendly and reassuring throughout the entire process and I’m extremely happy with the speed and comfort with which the surgery was performed. An overall amazing practice and I would certainly use this surgery, and my specific surgery team again as they were amazing. 10/10 would highly recommend to everyone.

Valkyrie Surgery and its staff are all very kind and welcoming. Being someone who previously never talked to doctors I really feel comfortable talking to the Dr’s at Valkyrie. I recently had surgery which I was quite nervous about but the Dr made me feel extremely comfortable with the whole process and I could not be happier with the whole situation. Very good

The Doctor was amazing from start to finish. He explained the procedure and all aspects of the operation in great detail. I was very nervous about the operation but he completely reassured me and gave me confidence that it would be ok and it was. Very professional service, thank you. The nurse was also excellent and kept me taking through the whole operation, making it much easier than expected.

Dr made me feel very comfortable and explained what he was going to do. Dr and nurse were talking to me all the way through the procedure. I felt very comfortable.

Attended today for a minor operation. Care provided by the consultant and the nurse was awesome. I was nervous and both went to great lengths to explain what was going to happen and calm my nerves during the procedure. Very personable with a sense of humour. Procedure done effortlessly and effectively with skill. Thank you

During my visit to Valkerie Surgery on 29 November 2024, I was once again reminded of the exceptional care and support the team provides. Managing diabetes and its associated challenges is never easy, but the expertise and compassion shown during my appointment made a world of difference. The team took the time to listen, guide, and address my concerns in a way that left me feeling reassured and well cared for. I am deeply grateful for the professionalism and dedication shown during my visit. Thank you to everyone at this outstanding surgery for the continued support and commitment to patient care.

Went for a vasectomy. Dr clearly explained everything and was very supportive throughout the appointment. Did everything possible to put me at ease throughout a delicate procedure. Left feeling very comfortable and confident.
