Been trying for 2 weeks to talk to someone online always closed and when calling very unhelpful staff,over the last 6 months I've had to use 111 to get help a number of times (2 of these occasions have endee up with ambulance and admitted to hospital.)you can't even talk to nurse the secretary option has gone from options on phone,really has gone down hill fast costing peoples lifes .

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments about the service we provide at the Practice. We understand your preference for anonymity but you have raised serious concerns regarding patient safety and risk to life which we would like to look into further. I have tried for weeks to either message or book an appointment via online. Every day it's says suspended. You can't even try to contact them let alone even try to get help. I suspect it's a way to massage the statistics because you can't even contact them. Appalling service blocked from using a service rightfully we pay for. How can I recommend when you can't even message them!! I understand limited resources but blocking us it's scandalous

We are really sorry that you have been unable to contact us. Our telephone lines are open 8.30 until 18.30 and Holmwood Health Centre reception is open from 8.00 until 18.30 Monday to Friday. The facility to access us online is open Monday to Friday 8.00 – 18.00 for clinical requests and administrative requests . As you mention, we have to suspend the online service for medical queries when we reach capacity which regrettably can happen quite early in the day. As our website states, you can telephone us if your need is urgent and your request will be dealt with on the day. You are correct when you say that resources are limited. As demand increases we have to manage our resources carefully and we do all we can to ensure that patients get the care they need whilst maintaining safe working practices. We understand your frustration but please be assured we are here to help our patients the best way we can in these current challenging times.

This system is putting lives a risk.for 2 day I have been trying to talk to doctor and get more medication( needed urgently).after a number of calls I have been told wait till 6pm and call 111 or go to A&E as doctors might take UpTo 5 days to reply.I understand doctors are busy but this is an on going health problem so I would not feel right going to A&E thats already under pressure just to get a prescription .
