Following an appointment today the doctor and reception staff have gone to extreme lengths to obtain a speedy referral for a a C T scan of a painful lump. Nothing seems to have been too much trouble and all personnel have been understanding and polite.

Iv been trying to get a appointment doesn’t matter what time I try 8 on the dot every morning but I keep getting messages saying we are full try again tomorrow

Thank you for your comment. We understand how frustrating it can be when you're trying to book an appointment and are unable to secure one. Our phone lines can be very busy, particularly first thing in the morning, but we want to reassure you that the surgery is open and fully staffed from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday. In addition to the phone, we also offer online appointment booking, which many patients find quicker and more convenient — especially during peak times. We encourage you to try this option if you're able, as it can help avoid long waits on the phone. When ever I need an appointment the receptionist always fits me in for the specific time of day I need due to work commitments.

I attended the surgery today and found the receptionist very welcoming. I didn't have to wait long to see the Doctor at my appointment time, and she was very helpful and prescribed a course of tablets.

I requested to join this surgery 2 days ago but then became unwell yesterday and needed emergency medication. The receptionists were lovely and expedited my application so they could give me an appointment. When I arrived there was minimal wait and the doctor I saw was incredibly thorough and nice. I never felt rushed or an inconvenience like I have done in the past in my other surgery and to get an appointment that quickly given the circumstances was amazing. Very pleased to be a patient here

Well, it was my first actual attendance at the surgery for a review. I was promptly attended to, and the lady who attended to me was friendly and sensitive to issues which could have been of a sensitive nature.

On a review, an appointment was made for the next morning which was brilliant. The person making the review was very good for the first time in ages I felt I was really being listened to. A blood test was done, blood pressure was taken. For the first time in years I felt the person I was talking too knew what they were doing.

I arrived early for my appointment and was seen ahead of the time. The doctor was attentive and knew exactly what needed to be done. The hard work is truly appreciated and truly grateful for the services offered at my GP surgery

Have been to see Diabetic Nurse and had everything explained to me in great detail. Nurse said was friendly and in time.
