I’ve been for my monthly weight in/blood pressure check with the lovely HCA who does bloods. I’d be lost without her she’s amazing. She keeps me positive encourages me with my weight lost I can only do it with regular encouragement from her. She’s so professional but also feels like a friend. If I need a hug and someone to listen she’s always there and I’d be lost without her. Looking forward to next month so we can celebrate my weight loss and catch up. She is honestly an asset to the surgery

Went for blood tests today. Nurse was lovely, very friendly and reassuring. Made me feel at ease. and took my bloods without any problem at all. Best blood nurse around!🙂

Since the beginning of the year i have had to have my bloods taken on a fairly regular basis. I'm sure just like most people its not something that i look forward to. However the way The Bloods Nurse goes about it with Her sense of humour and personality makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. Then before you know your bloods been taken and your on your way home without any pain.

This has been my surgery for a long time My mum however had been with her surgery over 60 yrs - mum is 99 Due to an illness a couple of years ago - mum had a hick up health wise- her old surgery (in my opinion) just seemed to give up Everything was a constant battle - major worries regarding lack of care and consideration It was affecting my health and causing me great concern I transferred mum over to my surgery The Strand Medical- they have been amazing the doctors are so helpful and listen and understanding- receptionist great - the nurses so helpful - the level of care and compassion and understanding had risen drastically I feel so much better myself My only regret I didn't do it earlier

I have recently had a baby and feel the communication with the practice has been great. They were in touch with me quickly to remind me to register him and arranged his 8 weeks appointment as soon as he was registered. I was also also given my 6 week check which was over the phone, I was called on the morning to remind me. I have also used the GP’s online consultation form many times and found this to be fantastic. I have always had a call back within 48 hours but usually it is the same day. I hear lots of people struggling with their GP’s at the moment and feel lucky to be registered with the Strand Medical Centre

I am really very appreciative of all the staff in this practice - doctors, nurses, reception staff. I would like to thank the reception staff for their help and patience this morning and the doctor for seeing me. I think they work in very challenging circumstances and yet consistently, in my experience, deliver a great service. I for one don't take this for granted and I hope they know they are appreciated. Thank you.

I can’t fault this surgery as a patient or as a worker in the NHS, I’ve worked in many practices and this is hands down the best I’ve seen and known, great clinical and admin staff, very quick with responses and excellent communication skills. Both my parents are registered here all so and there care is superb, thank you to each and everyone of you for all your hard work and support
