    I arrived just before my appointment time and was immediately seen. I didn't have to wait very long at all. The doctor was friendly and explained everything to me clearly and was happy to answer my questions and explain anything to me. Really can't fault the service it was very good especially given the pressure GPs are under at the moment. It's never easy seeing a doctor but I was made to feel comfortable and welcome.

    Some Receptionists at The Speedwell Practice are unhelpful and rude. The Triage system is not suitable to everyone; no allowances are made to help patients that cannot get up early to fill the required form. If missed the Receptionist does not help in anyway with appointments - one of the Receptionist's accused me of arguing (which was not the case) then cut me off when I asked to speak with my GP who was on duty. This sort of thing cutting off patients who are not well, not able to speak to their GP should not be happening. Practice Owners please address this urgently. Why is this happening? There is no courtesy / duty of care shown to patients.

    Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear you recent experience wasn't a positive one. Our online eConsult requests is available from 6am until 12pm Monday to Friday. Previously (as early as January) it was available between the hours of 6am - 4pm. Please visit our website for more information as to why we had to reduce our online access opening hours https://www.thespeedwellpractice.nhs.uk/2023/02/03/online-consultations-update/ For patients who are unable to access online service, reception will complete an eConsult on their behalf. Our duty doctor reviews over a 120 eConsults requests per day, as well as urgent requests from 111, London Ambulance Service, Care Homes, urgent test results, urgent prescriptions, urgent clinical letters / emails, home visits and any other urgent query that comes in on the day. Therefore not is not always possible for the receptionist to put calls through to the duty doctor when patients request. Please email our management team nclicb.manager.speedwell@nhs.net so we can review the call recording and identify any training needs so we can improve and provide a good service to all our patients.     I want to say how disappointed we are as a family. The speedwell practice was never like this before. I have been in this practice since 1999 .Right at this moment i am on phone for 24 min and it says no 1 in que since I called them and obviously no answer. You can imagine the rest . At reception horrendous they don’t book you any appointments . I want to leave as soon as possible .It doesn’t allow me to post if I don’t put one star but they don’t deserve one star

    Very well executed as usual. I can imagine this task is very difficult to organise , but every year they do it to perfection. My appointment was at 9.54 and was out of the surgery at 10.10

    Went for my flu jab today. Joined a queue which moved at a slow but steady pace around the way one system. Everything was well organised and ran smoothly.

    There are no words to express my gratitude for today's visit. The receptionist was thoughtful enough to mention I was seeing a female Dr (intimate issue), and my patient and empathetic Doctor saw me within 5 hours of my appointment request and solved my issue and anxiety. This is how every surgery should be...

    Overall I have been with the speedwell practice for many years, there have been some great Doctors over the years some no more. Seems I only know a few now and see a different new doctor every time. I suffer with my ears and learnt you now stop doing ear suctioning? I’m very sad about this and I have been suffering for over a month with deafness. a lot of my medications keep being rejected too why with no explanation? I give praise throughout lockdown whilst other people complained about their Go’s the speedwell was really on point throughout lockdown… it’s now I see change for the worse?

    You can’t see the doctor but they give you a phone call from the doctor you need to wait more than a week, on the day of the phone call doctors never ring you on time , always late and you need to be fast enough to answer your phone , its impossible

    We have been seeing patients throughout covid and since July 2021 when we moved to total triage, all patients are given the choice of face to face or telephone. Following triage patients are booked an appointment 1-14 days in advance and are notified either by telephone or SMS with an appointment date, time, name of clinician and whether the appointment is face to face or telephone. If the GP has triaged and feel it is 'urgent' for the same day, they will phone you once they have triaged all 120 patients. But if the GP feels you need to come in, they will ask admin to phone you with an appointment time for the same day. Please contact our practice manager manager.speedwell@nhs.net with your details so she can listen to the call recording as there may have been a misunderstanding or the information you were given was wrong and therefore she will need to follow this up directly with the person concerned. We would like to reassure you that following triage we do provide face to face appointments for all patients who request one. Thank you for your feedback. We look forward to hearing from you.     We have been with this practice for over 20 years and feel extremely fortunate! Even through Covid, the Practice stayed open (unlike some others) and services were accessible and superb. The staff REALLY care, understand how anxious patients can be, and work to alleviate that as much as possible. Thank you all!
