What a great idea for Saturday blood clinic. I was so glad to book in and attend my appointment on bank holiday Saturday! Didn’t need to take any time off from work. Appointment went smoothly and no delays. Thank you

Very polite and friendly receptionists, made me feel at ease when visited the practice. Even though that ordering prescriptions is different, they have explained it well

I been calling to the receptionist for more than 35 minutes, and i have been only number 2 in the queue so i,am thinking how is possible that every person was listened for 20 minutes by a receptionist,because as soon that they got you the call they will try to rush and close you phone really quickly.

I called regarding an issue with my dad about a lump and I was looking to book a GP appointment. In the past, we were always able to book an appointment a week in advance. The reception informed me that they no longer take advance appointments and people will either have to call at 8am or physically go into the surgery at 8am. There are people who have to work in order to make a living and is not always available to either be on hold for an hour from 8am or to miss an hour of work in order to book a GP appointment. The lack of service is becoming concerning as many people will miss out on important health checks or may not even get things checked altogether!

Dear Patient, Thank you for your feedback. I am the Operations Manager for the practice and I will be looking into this for you. I am sorry to hear that you have had difficulty booking an appointment for your dad. I can understand how this would be frustrating. Due to the extremely high demand for GP appointments, there is currently a need for patients to contact the practice at 8am in order to make same day appointments. I understand that this may be difficult for patients who work at this time, however this is the time at which the practice opens and as such the majority of patients call at this time and the appointments are booked very quickly due to high demand. Unfortunately, this high demand can also cause increased waiting times on the phones as you have mentioned. The practice is constantly looking at ways to improve on the service we provide and reviewing access to appointments is a big part of this. Please rest assured that I have brought this feedback to the attention of the practice manager and it will be discussed at our next practice meeting. Once again, thank you for your feedback. Since the old doctors have left you can see a lot of positive and modern changes. Admin Staff are friendly and happy, I’ve spoken to the lady managers without any issues few times when I needed, they have sent patient satisfaction surveys and the practice is promoting patient’s opinions around the building. Looks like the practice is trying to do better

Never book appointment if you go to GP personally and from 0800 to 0801 recording is, we are closed and then we are busy so cal later as it happened from last 2 weeks

I understand that this is frustrating and I'm keen to look into this further for you. As the phone lines open at 8am each day, we do see the highest volume of calls at this time. Unfortunately, this does mean that wait times can be longer than at other times of the day. This should not however prevent you from joining the call waiting queue. They moan and tell you not to come to the surgery in the morning anymore and all appointments have to be booked over the phone at 8am in the morning… been sat on hold as caller number 3 in the queue for almost 2 hours this morning with no movement and no one picking up! Severe chest infection and can’t even get an appointment with your own doctors to get antibiotics, the place is a shambles! Don’t even bother trying to sign up here

I just wanted to clarify that the day in question that you were trying to reach the surgery, 27th December, was in fact a bank holiday. As such the practice was not open. This would be the reason for your difficulty getting through. The practice will be open as normal from 28th December for three days and then will be closed on Monday 2nd January for the bank holiday, before reopening on Tuesday 3rd January. Hi I have problem contact gp I try calling this time 4 time every day after 8 am still nobady pick up the phone. Nobady call me back. Then I visit reception same problem just tell me I need to call morning after 8 am if I want to spoke with GP well I calling like 10 times every day after 8 am. This action and attitude is unbelievable.

I came from london to register here and i have 6 months old baby girl that time and receptionist did not guide my correctly and her attitude was unprofessional,rude and ignorant. I am very upset even i provided all documents to the reception for registeration. Now again i just visited today to know about my registeration and again same receptionist was there and dealt me again very very wrongly. This GP does not provide any informtion whether i have register or not until i come myself to know. Very very bad in communication. I dont know how many people are being effected due to them lack of communication. I came after 3 weeks to know about my registration. Secondly i requested to book my baby girl appointment and she said go back to home and book over the phone even though she could have opportunity to book straightway. Last 3 and half month i have no baby checkup by health visitor and she did not recommend me to ask for health visitor. I am helpless i dont know who will be responsible if anything goes wrong for my baby and wife.
