I have had to use the doctors twice in the past 2 weeks and i have to say the experience was excellent! So much prefer the telephone consultation. Whilst it's nice to see people again after going through COVID, I think this process is much better than sitting in a waiting room with other poorly patients and means I do not have to take time out of my working day other than a phone call. Even getting through for an appointment now you have the queuing call back is far easier than ever. Really excellent service, thank you!

I know many patients complain that they can't get through to their surgery. The Sides phonelines are busy but they offer a service whereby you can hang up but keep your place in the queue and receive a callback when at the front of the queue. Since Covid, telephone consults have become the norm however face to face appointments are offered when needed. I've never struggled to get an appointment and they generally run to time. All staff, medical and clerical, are really friendly and supportive. I'm not sure if it's different ways of working that have persisted since the pandemic, or a change in management/strategic decisions but I definitely think The Sides has come out of the pandemic a better and more accessible practice.

I have been anxious about symptoms following surgery and scans. Doctor went through my questions, calmly and kindly and gave good advice, saving us both time and me further anxiety. I have always found staff and care very good at The Sides.
