I fully understand that face-to-face GP appointments are limited and that demand is high. However, in my case, this is a medically necessary follow-up and I was surprised to be directed to out-of-hours services, which are not appropriate for the nature of my condition. I previously had a positive experience with this practice and appreciated the outstanding service. However, I’ve noticed a decline recently including long phone wait time

I’ve been registered with this practice since 2016, and I can genuinely say the care I’ve received over the years has been consistently excellent. All the doctors I’ve seen are kind and compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. The staff are also wonderful, helpful, patient, and respectful. I’d also like to acknowledge a previous review I wrote when I was going through a really difficult time with my health. I was emotional and not quite myself, and I regret if my words came across unfairly. Looking back, I truly appreciate the support the practice has given me over the years. Thank you for their continued care and professionalism.

The Doctors and Nurses are very lovely and friendly. They take time to listen to our medical concerns with Patience and respect. I felt very comfortable with their advice and treatment during all my appointments.

I was given time beyond my appointment slot and the doctor explained everything very clearly. I wasn't rushed out, felt comfortable talking to the doctor and felt listened to.

I have been at this practice for about 10 years and only have positive things to say. The staff are alway polite, engaging, explain everything clearly and do everything with a smile on their face. We are not allowed to leave names in the review although I wish I could, I would name them all because they are fantastic and the GP I have spoken with today is the most vibrant, energetic, informative and caring GP I have ever met or had the pleasure of being seen and treated by. Appointments can be difficult to get in the nhs although I have never had to wait an unreasonable amount of time at this practice even though I have had a busy time with my health concerns over the last few years. I had a face to face appointment with a GP last week and a follow up telephone appointment today with potentially concerning news although the GP reassured me and now I feel calm about the process I need to follow. Thank you all there from the reception staff, to the nurse, locums and GPs, you have all been a pleasure to deal with.

The media keeps describing the awful experiences people have with GP practices. Well, not at The Shrubberies! The receptionists are efficient and friendly and it's not difficult to get an appointment to see a doctor in person. The atmosphere in the waiting room is pleasant and calm. Every medical professional I've seen has been confidence-inspiring and caring. The doctor I saw today was absolutely lovely — a wonderful combination of competence and good humour. I left feeling very fortunate.

I had a problem and the receptionist was very helpful and got me an appointment straight away. Doctor was kind and reassuring. Everyone at this practice puts the patient first. I have no hesitation in recommending them, from the doctors, receptionists, phlebotomist and nurses, they are all respectful, friendly and kind

I phoned for an appointment at 8.20 a.m. I was seen at 9.a.m. and home by 9.20 a.m. Everyone at the Shrubberies, from the doctors to the Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Pharmacist, Phlebotomist, Receptionists and Practice Manager, is warm, caring, professional and accessible. My wife and I could not commend this Practice more highly. Quite simply patients always come first. The very best of NHS GP practices. Stuart & Sylvia Kuttner
