It is unbelievable that whilst the practice has gone over to Anima to improve efficiency to complain you have to put it in writing! I am trying to continue a journey regarding a cyst which is getting larger that I would like removed. From a doctors visit I have had a scan which was interpreted by another member of staff who closed any further action. So the original doctor did not consider the result. I have not been able to get another appointment through Anima with the message saying ‘ only a few appointments are allowed each day” which confesses they cannot cope and do not care about any other concerns The text about Anima makes it sound fantastic in speed and efficiency but when there is a daily limit you know the system is trying to get people to go private. You couldn’t make it up!!!!

Further to our telephone conversation, I am sorry to read this review. Anima is a contractual digital triage platform designed to direct patients to the most appropriate service. The service opens from 07:30 and closes when we reach capacity to work safely with the available clinicians on that day. Due to annual leave the clinician you requested is currently unavailable but we have made an appointment with an alternative clinician.

I wasn’t called today for my medication review and didn’t receive any communication to say it had been cancelled. Bit annoying as I was waiting 50 minutes for the call

Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that your call was made later than was expected, as a surgery generally we do not give out times for phone calls in case the clinician is running late. I have spoken with the lady that booked the appointment, she sends her apologies, in the future she will only give approx. times and explain this to the patient. If you wish to discuss this matter any further please call the surgery and ask for myself. Kind Regards Katie Assistant Practice Manager
