  1. Review titled Great Service

Rated 4 stars out of 5

A very lovely woman at our GP service was exceptional. Her kindness and professionalism shone through as she efficiently assisted us with a challenging issue concerning a special needs child. Her compassionate approach and clear guidance made a stressful situation manageable. We are incredibly grateful for her outstanding support. Highly recommend her and the service to anyone in need.

  2. Review titled Worse service

Rated 1 star out of 5

As a person who struggle with anxiety. This practice is not place anyone should go for help. I have a problem which needs an ultra sound which was recommended by the GP I saw last week. Everyday I have to chase them up to find out if it was sent. Received a text message saying my referral was sent to a particular establishment. When I contacted that particular place, they say they don't have anything about me. Ok! I proceeded to contact the practice receptionist. I was quickly rushed of the phone and told that was a mistake. Mind you, I have been on pain all this time as I told them the pain killers aren't working. How could admin staff make a mistake in sending a referral for an ultra sound ??? I decided to go in and ask if I can get a referral to a walk in clinic so that I can get help quicker. I was told to go home and call back the surgery (am standing in front of these reception staff) they will see what they can do. I also work on the nhs. I am sure I cannot treat a patient the way I was treated

  3. Review titled Absolute Appalling Service

Rated 1 star out of 5

Avoid this GP Practice. It’s the worst GP Practice I have ever had the misfortune to be exposed to. Avoid this GP Practice completely. Receptionist are all rude. Practice manager even ruder. The entire staff is just simply disgusting. Medical care forget it. It would take me the rest of the year to write how incompetent, rude, unhelpful, unapproachable, fiesty and loud indiscreet, aggressive the entire staff are. As an NHS worker myself, I am totally disgusted by the way patients are treated at this GP Practice. My entire family have been traumatised by treatment by staff, at this GP Practice.

  4. Review titled Terrible practice

Terrible practice, tried for over a month for an appointment which you can never get! Told to do and e consult which they never got back to me and I was provided with a reference, receptionist have no compassion and very argumentative and always try and talk over you. And when you finally get an appt which is suppose to be with a doctor and they book you with a nurse. Had an appt for 8:15 checked in no one informed me the nurse was running late until I went to reception 30 mins later to be told she's stuck in traffic and they don't know how long she will be thats not good practice if you are booking patients in for 8:15 make sure your there!!! always the same problem with morning appts! Practice has gone down hill i can't believe there still open with all these bad reviews

  5. Review titled Blood test reception

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Violet Murray - Posted on 27 May 2023

I had to go for a blood test without eating or drinking, so I asked for earliest appointment, my appointment was 8:15 am. I arrived at 8:10 waited at reception, ignored so I called out my name and said I’m here for a blood test and went and waited in reception, At 8:30 am my name still hadn’t come up on the telly so I went back to reception as I heard somebody else booking in for bloods and thought I would lose my place, totally frustrating visit so unnecessary to cause me stress like that when I already had to have three separate appointments because they didn’t listen to me on the phone When I was trying to tell them what bloods I needed to have. Lord forbid a patient knowing what they actually need. Stressful and frustrating

Dear Ms Murray, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you are not happy with the service you have received. We will use your comments as a learning point to help improve the service we offer our patients. Reviewing your records, I can see that you had an appointment at 8:15 am, you were arrived by our receptionist at 8:19 and marked as a leaver by our Nurse at 8:31. The surgery has recently reinstalled our patient check in screen to use, as we understand that the reception desk can get busy during peak times. I am happy for you to contact me directly to discuss further. Yours sincerely Mario Paschalides Practice Manager

  6. Review titled The service is inadequate for Appointments

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Nadeem Shah - Posted on 09 May 2023

Having trying to book an appointment two days in a row, to be told I need to phone from 8am. Thank you very much! I have done so, only to be told waiting for 45mins each time to be told no slots are available, please try next day? You are told to book an eConsultation at 12 midnight online, who is going to do this at this time when your ill? Even you are told by the receptionist you cannot come into the surgery at 8am and book the appointment as they too busy having a chat in between themselves instead of answering the phone calls! The service is rubbish and inadequate and hopeless locum doctors, one says something different then the other. If I could rate Zero I would.

Dear Mr Shah, Thank you for your feedback, I am sorry you did not receive the service you expected when calling the surgery to book an appointment. The Surgery phone lines are open at 8am, and we ask patients to call the surgery at this time, as the on the day appointments get booked early due to current high demand. 50% of all the on the day and routine appointments are available online from midnight each working day. The remaining 50% are bookable by telephone or in person. The eConsultation service on our website, is a way for patients to contact our clinicians directly. Once a message is left either a GP or a Pharmacist will respond to your question or query within 48 hours, and an appointment will be booked for you if one is indicated. I am happy for you to contact me directly to discuss further. Yours sincerely Mario Paschalides Practice Manager

  7. Review titled Rude and very unhelpful

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Spencer Sweeting - Posted on 20 April 2023

I checked in for my appointment waited over an hour only to be told I was marked on the system as not turned up. When I eventually saw the doctor she was rude, unhelpful and appeared to just want me to leave. There was no apology and no real advice on what I can do about my condition. I have a sleep disorder and want to come off the pills. I was prescribed further pills and basically told to get on with it. I wouldn’t recommend using the surgery.

  8. Review titled My down syndrome daughter and 9 year old grandson

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Rizal Akbulut - Posted on 15 December 2022

I am absolutely upset and angry. I have a down syndrome daughter who suffers from a very weak immune system.I had been trying to book an appointment for my daughter and grandson. I couldn't get an appointment so I had to take her to emergency. When I finally got one for the 15th of December it was canceled a few days before the appointment. I received a message from the gp to contact and make an appointment to see the doctor as an emergency however I again couldn't get one. I start ring the GP at 8.00 and is kept on hold by the time the phones are answered there are no appointments left. I am very unhappy and angry and don't know who to contact and how or what time to get an appointment.

  9. Review titled Impossible to get an appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Peter - Posted on 10 December 2022

I have been trying for around 8 weeks now to get a face to face appointment. Nothing ever available to book online, and if you phone the surgery they tell you to call at 8am. But when you do, the lines are so busy you get the message 'you have dialled an incorrect number'. I need a face to face for an going condition that has already been seen by two GPs, and also a follow up from an ultra sound scan two months ago! Yet I cannot get an appointment! Appointments should be available to book online as well as over the phone. This surgery has a poor ratio of patients/GP's, clearly more GP's are needed to cope with demand.

  10. Review titled Bad GP Practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 11 November 2022

I feel let down by this GP Practice big time. Booking an appointment is impossible let alone seeing a GP face-to-face post Covid. It makes me wonder if this Practice should be kept open? I rang the Practice and spoke to a receptionist to book an appointment. She said that she will send a link so I can book online. The link arrived and there was no form to fill-in. Being resourceful, I went on the NHS online app where I found the same booking link. This was a relief because there was a form available. I completed the form and send. I received a reply saying someone will contact me in the next 2 days. A day later on, I received a text message saying I have to call from 8 am. So back to where I started from. The staff in this practice do not have empathy. A patient wants to see a doctor because of an ailment. The staff are there to facilitate not to put them off.
