Had an amazing experience with orchard surgery. easy to get an appointment with a GP. The receptionist helpful too.

The receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly. The nurse who did a blood test was very professional and answered my questions. She was also very amenable. I only had to wait a couple of minutes in the waiting room. All in all, my experience, on this occasion, was extremely good.

It took exactly 1 hour and 15 minutes to finally get to speak with the Receptionist who was unsympathetic, unhelpful, and rude. She did not wish to assist at all or speak with a doctor for me, but instead told me to go to A&E! This is not an emergency matter and all the Receptionist was doing was passing on the problem to the A&E under the excuse of following protocol. I am hoping that this particular receptionist who lacks compassion is not typical of the Receptionists at the Orchard!

Really thorough staff that have helped me so much from reception to nurses. Efficient and effective systems and apps that everyone understands and can help you with.

I appreciate the care my GP gives and takes in consideration my thoughts. I get to say what I feel. The staff is helpful and friendly.

I am absolutely furious. My partner has several health issues. I phoned your surgery yesterday. When I finally got through to someone. I explained the problem. The phone handler was extremely rude, throughout the entire call. Every time I spoke. I would be rudely interrupted. Clearly not worried about helping at all. I was told that I couldn't get, what was needed for my partner at the time. I was told that the on call duty doctor would call. After surgery. Yet neither of us have received a call at all. The problem that we had involved one of my partner's health issues. Which is to do with his chest. Before ending the call. I said that I would have to call 111 then. As you couldn't help at the moment. As you needed the doctor to phone first. Then it may be possible to continue with the request. By this time anything could have happened. Thank goodness I phoned NHS 111 for help. I should have phoned them instead of phoning his actual GP surgery. Disgusting customer service. I would definitely not recommend this surgery.

Prompt and great service having my blood taken , didn't have to wait as long , and it was a Saturday appointment which I confirmed my appointment

Didn’t have to wait for my appointment. Very pleasant nurse took my blood. Explained what they would test for. Helped me to feel relaxed. Great.

We needed prescription medicines for both my wife and myself ahead of normal dispensing dates as we are due to travel on vacation. The receptionists tried their best to accommodate our request and also suggested calling the following morning and getting an appointment. This we did, got an appointment with the doctor who was kind enough to send our prescriptions to our regular Pharmacy. Thank you Orchard Surgery.

I am always very happy with response from surgery. Helpful and reassuring when we needed it. Always at the end of the phoneline,or e consult which is good.
