The nurse called me to explain the results of my recent blood tests. We discussed the meaning of my cholestrol and PSA values, and agreed the frequency of future tests. This was very helpful.

The mental health nurses at this practice have always been so great, in particular the nurse that has been handling my care. She is quick to offer help and support of different kinds and the regular checks in when starting medication is really appreciated. I feel as though she listened attentively to my own suggestions on what might help my condition. Our check in this morning was positive and I know I can reach out if needed. Lovely team as a whole

Had an urgent situation with my elderly mother. An appointment was arranged for that afternoon. Really thorough check of my mums symptoms, bought something new light. A visit to the emergency unit at Southmead Hospital was arranged for us that afternoon. Brilliant service

Saw the nurse for my smear test, she explained everything fully and also made me feel really at ease. These things can be quite invasive and she was so kind, I really appreciated it.

Had routine smear test with nurse A and a trainee. Due to school holidays had my children with me. Both nurse A and the trainee were extremely kind and friendly to both me and my children and the procedure itself was very good in that I barely felt a thing, (not always the case!). Thank you again nurse A and trainee colleague : )

How lucky to have this amazing practitioner as part of the team at Old School Surgery. The appointment exceeded all my expectations. He was attentive to my descriptions of the pain and location before carrying out a thorough assessment, over which he really took his time and I felt he was invested in getting to the root cause of the pain. The pressure applied to the pain “pulse points” was excellent in relieving some of the pain, which I had the benefit of the morning after the appointment. He has recommended daily exercises, which I will follow, however I am also seeking a referral to a physiotherapist/accupressiarist as I have hope now that I can once again be pain free. Thank you . Staff friendly and pleasant. No queues all done ina few minutes . The on line booking is easy and messages to remind me of the appointment are good.

I attended this surgery for my spring Covid vaccination today. I found all the helpers and volunteers extremely helpful and friendly. The medical staff and receptionist were very professional and friendly my appointment was carried out extremely quickly. I would certainly recommend this surgery to everyone.

At both appointments for my medical tests, the service was very efficient: there was no delay, and in fact on the last test, it was complete even before the appointment was meant to start!!
