Thank you to a lovely HCA. Only a blood pressure check but her smiling relaxed approach made me feel at ease. She offered to take blood tests as well to save me another trip to a phlebotomist. Very good service.

I have been with this surgery since May 2022, and I have not had any serious problems with the surgery. You can't always be seen when you call, that's understandable. But every time I have been seen, I have been treated with kindness and patience, especially at the tail end of 2022 when I thought I had several issues and had numerous appointments for things that can be summed up as all anxiety related. The GPs have been wonderful to me and I would like to publicly thank them for what they do.

My husband suffered a knee injury in May and we completed the required E Consult form only to be given a phone call appointment with a physio. I chased for a face to face appointment but was told everyday that no appointments were available and they’d stopped offering E Consult as a option due to having too many. After 8 weeks of severe pain and still unable to bare weight, we paid for a private consultation only to be told he had a suspected meniscus tear. We could not afford further private treatment and so went back to Nevells Road for help. After repeatedly explaining the situation, we finally received an MSK appointment for 31st August. We still have not had a face to face GP appointment and will still need an MRI scan. I’ve just seen online that another gentleman at another local practice was seen by his GP, sent for an urgent scan and treated all on the same day. How do Nevells Road justify their service?

I had an appointment with one of the nurses today and she was excellent. She put me at ease, was friendly, welcoming and very thorough explaining everything. I been with the practice for about 18 months now and each experience has been a very positive one; from booking through to consultation. Thank you.

I wanted a referral for private treatment and was given a phone consultation set at 10 days after my call. At phone consultation I was told that I had to be seen first. I asked when would that be, but was told it would be at least 7 days, maybe longer. When I questioned that, I was told that because things were difficult didn't mean the doctor would lower his standards. I've been with this surgery since 1976 and it has been wonderful to me and my family. What a shame.

I would like to thank the doctors and reception team who are always polite and professional whilst taking telephone appointments. I have always been able to get through to the appointments and have had calls returned by doctor, prescriptions written and face to face appointments when necessary. Despite staff shortages and being extremely busy they are providing a wonderful service. Thank you

After feeling very unwell today and explaining to the receptionist spoke to a Dr within 40 minutes who in turn asked me into the surgery .she was lovely and listened to me and had the time to make me feel at ease . upshot of this visit prescribed medication and hopefully things will improve .thank you to all the staff at this surgery .
