    I contacted the surgery in the morning, was answered by a very pleasant receptionist who booked me in to attend a clinic that afternoon. What a great service. I have attended the Manor Surgery for many years and have never had a poor experience. Excellent practice.

    I recently had a local infection/inflammation at my hand, and was extremely happy with the advice/treatment at the Manor Surgery. I called the reception (no waiting time!), told them about my issue, got a link by message to upload a picture of my hand, and within about 15 minutes a doctor called my, asked precise questions and devoted quite some of his time to discuss how to proceed, including my worries of taking antibiotics to quickly. I was really amazed by how quick this all went and by how much the doctor card about my issue at the phone. Thank you!

    I cannot praise this surgery highly enough. The receptionists have been kind and professional, I've always been offered an appointment on the same day and the doctors I've seen have been absolutely lovely. I feel listened to and that my concerns about my health have been validated. The treatment options have always been discussed with me fully and the doctors have been very knowledgeable. I feel very lucky to have found such a good GP surgery.

    We’ve been with these wonderful people for 40 years and they are all brilliant and I’m not just referring to the medical staff, I also include the reception team, Boots pharmacy which is attached to the practice and the random medical support staff which are there occasionally in the week. There’s nothing they won’t do for you, they go above and beyond, always make you feel relaxed and at ease, everything is followed up and chased up with either texts, emails, phone calls or video calls until the problem/challenge is resolved. Can’t say thank you enough to these top notch people. Totally recommended.

    I've been registered at Manor surgery for ages and have always been happy with the practice, but it wasn't until I had a baby that I started to appreciate what a special place it is. From emergency calls about post birth complications, to ongoing wound care and discussions about my mental health, everyone I've met at Manor has been so kind and so 'human'. I see the same friendly faces and they remember me and my baby - the time taken to check in with me and ask how I was doing in those first bleak months made such a huge difference and I'm so grateful. I feel like the doctor, nurses, pharmacy and reception staff I've seen have time for me and genuinely listen when I explain what's going on. I don't have a lot of local support and without everyone at Manor Surgery I don't know what I would have done. A lovely, friendly practice with warm, kind people!

    Two phone consults and one in person across three different doctors over the last month, for our poorly kid. Usually I’d be panicked about being passed around because doctors are booked out/ taking much needed and deserved leave etc. But all three doctors did a really excellent analysis of complex symptoms, listened carefully, asked thorough questions, took action. Made me emotional that we have such brilliant people providing such excellent care in a horrendously under-funded system. You are amazing. We see the crazy overtime doctors have to work. We support you and are hugely grateful for help. Thank you.

    Previously I’ve had only good things to say about the practise (except for that one person at reception which has to be one of the most unsympathetic people I’ve ever heard when she speaks to people) but have now felt the need to leave a review because their services are becoming terrible. My last interaction I spent 3 days calling trying to book an appointment because there is no queuing system on their phone lines any longer. There used to be. And given you can’t get through in the appointment window you are just asked to call back again the next day and this keeps going. When I did get through and tried to raise that issue they were quite abrubt in shutting me down making it completely clear that was my problem now did I want an appointment or not. And I would have to wait days for it. Did my blood work. Which unfortunately was messed up in lab which I was notified of via text. I will have to call to make an appointment again. Been trying for 50 minutes. Window about to end. So getting the care I need is becoming impossible.

    Really caring - always see my little one when I’m concerned and really listen to issues. No hassle referring when needed. Great text service for booking blood tests so it’s fast and easy.

    Over many years I have found all the doctors helpful and caring and sent me for tests when required.I am under a oncologist at city hospital I have a daytime nurse and 24 hour helpline and and manor surgery to back me up I could not wish for better treatment. I believe in the NHS in Nottingham some of my friends in other counties are not so lucky with doctors appointments as I am. I am very grateful for the care and attention I have received Three cheers for NHS

    Having called Manor Surgery to speak to a doctor about a concerning, cyst-like facial pimple soon after 8am today, I was called back within 90 minutes. Aware of their brilliant triage system, I had a photo prepared but was amazed to be asked if I could drop by 'now'. I was seen immediately and, within minutes, Dr Mannion had completely put my mind to rest. This was no 'one-off' - it simply echoed several recent outstanding patient experiences I and my family have had with other doctors in this exemplary practice. Most people are inevitably apprehensive at needing to see a GP, but they shouldn't be here; the atmosphere is so welcoming, caring and supremely professional that reassurance or necessary action is as instant as it could possibly be. I always try not to burden my GPs with trivia but sometimes there's simply no substitute for being checked out by an expert, especially in circumstances (like today) when I'm genuinely unsure of what is or isn't 'trivial'. I've never been made to feel guilty or a time-waster here, and nothing seems too much trouble. It may seem ridiculous to think that someone might actually enjoy a visit to their GP practice, but at Manor Surgery it's almost true! In a nutshell, their patient care and consideration is truly exemplary. I thought it was 30 years ago, but it just seems to keep on getting better and better. My family is so fortunate to be able to call upon these brilliant professionals and to know that - whatever the outcomes - we are totally confident of being in the safest and most caring and conscientious of hands. Thank you all so much for today's and so many other personal instances of both medical and human excellence!
