    Both my elderly parents are with this practice and have health issues. Trying to get an appointment to see a doctor is so difficult, you can't get past the receptionists with the third degree! When we finally got a telephone consultation, the medication prescribed was wrong. This could have been very dangerous if we hadn't checked it before my father took it. This practice likes to give out lots of prescriptions without reading your history notes first. Will try and get met parents to another surgery but walking is difficult for them. Hopeless!

    Dear Family member, I am sorry to hear you have not been satisfied with the service provided at our surgery. I have spoken to either you or your sister regarding the prescription and issue was resolved. Medication prescribed was not wrong and there was no history of any adverse reaction in patient’s records nor did the patient advised when asked.     They refer me to hospital and when i got prescription from hospital i give it to this GP and they said it will be sent to my pharmacy in 3 days now today is 5th day they still not sent it to pharmacy and I informed them that ia hve breathing problem so I can't wait more and every time when i visit gp they said we have sent to prescription room it will be added very soon these people don't even care how your heath is this gp is useless.

    what is the point of this practice. The surgery has the worst protocols and procedures just make simple things as getting a prescription difficult which I had not long ago. I had to attend A&E to get urgent medication. Even the A&E doctor was applaud.

If your requested medicine is on repeat and requested in time then there should not be any issue to get a prescription with in 72 hours.     I have two issues with this practice. I've booked an appointment recently to discuss and find out more about and get advice on hormonal changes and understand about menopause. Firstly the reception staff were quite abrupt and had poor customer service skills. I,myself work with customers on daily basis and I know what a good and caring customer service looks like. They couldn't understand my surname and when I offered to spell it out they dismissed me. So not a good start. Then I went in to speak to a male doctor who after I told him why I was there,bear in mind I did say I wasn't having any symptoms as such just needed advice, sent me to get blood tests and possibly ultrasound. I'm not sure why this was suggested.(?) Today I received a letter asking to have an ultrasound! No communication with me as to why I might needed it!. So overall not a great service. Thinking if changing GP!
