I am generally in favour of telephone triage as often you just need to speak to someone for advice, yet there is a problem with the fact that they can't even give you an approximate time when the doctor will call, which means you have to wait all day and it's always the moment you need to do something that you miss the call, there is never a message left and you can't call back. Some people are not able to wait all day for a phone call if they have no idea when it will be. Better management of this phone call system would really help patients. This is a great surgery in general, but this phone appointment system (or lack of a system) really lets them down. Also having to listen to the Covid spiel for a whole minute before the call makes calling such a drawn-out process. I'm sure many people are putting off having things checked out due to this convoluted process, I know I am! In some cases this putting off going could be deadly, so I really think they need to sort this issue out.

Dear Patient Thanks for your feedback We agree telephone call backs is a convenient way for patients and clinicians to manage some medical issues. Also we do have a policy of providing a 2 hour time frame to patients. We will reiterate this to our receptionists and in future if you are not given a 2 hour time frame please report it to our practice managers, thanks

This surgery is amazing I have never been to a doctor‘s surgery that operates as well as this one. Not only are the reception staff helpful polite and patient every single doctor that I have ever spoke to has been outstanding. I cannot recommend this doctor surgery enough and they work seriously hard and genuinely care about their patients.

I have been with this surgery and delt with the same doctor for many years and have usually been very happy on the whole. Covid has made it near impossible to get appointments at times but this morning, I got through quickly, got an appointment and was called back withing a couple of hours. I even received a further call later updating me, so I was extremely happy. Hopefully things are getting back to some sort of normality at this great surgery at long last.

Only been with the practice for a few months. Found it and all the staff efficient, knowledgeable and courteous. Nothing seems to be a problem. Having been at a previous practice which was the complete opposite its been a breath of fresh air. Of course the NHS has its faults but this practice has everything you'd expect of our wonderful NHS

Always able to get an appointment when I call first thing in the morning. GP’s are very thorough, friendly and helpful and will see you in person if required. The receptionists are also very helpful and happy to help where they can.
