I have tried to contact the surgery on several occasions over recent days. I can never get through. I am left on hold with some awful music playing and am told my call is very important which it obviously isn't. In the end I put the phone down as I do not have time to just sit on the phone waiting. The last time it was over 10 minutes on hold and still not answered.

All appointments are telephone calls with the doctor only making face to face appointments. Blood tests are a 3-6 week wait time. Results then have to be chased up often using e consult system, which results in you being given a phone call made for 3-5 weeks later. Phone call appointments are based on a morning or afternoon surgery window resulting in you needing to keep the phone line free for about 4 hours. If you do miss call you get a text message with details and no call back. Its taken over 6 months to get results from tests for a condition and still no further forward in getting support. Surgery needs to start committing to small windows for phone calls. Attempting to return a call if missed. If the issue can be dealt with by email or text system then this should be done at the point of enquiry on the econsult system rather than needing to wait unnecessarily for a phone call.

I’ve always had effective treatment from the practice with phone or face to face appointments being in sensible timescales. All staff are courteous and the facilities are clean and modern.
