I felt that some foods were problematical swallowing without weight loss, the GP sent me for a blood test on the same day, with the gastroenterology procedure following very quickly. Fortunately I received a positive result. The practice was extremely helpful with my worries and questions responded to quickly.

My late mother was under the care of this practice, due to living in a nearby care home. After eleven days of end of life care, she passed sadly away. The care home called a doctor from this surgery when she passed away. However,they would not come out to register the death, but was on the end of a phone on a zoom call. This is utterly disrespectful to the deceased and our family. There needs to be far more care and sensitivity for families in this situation.
