For years my partner and I have tolerated this second-rate practice, but now it's time to move. The latest nonsense meant I could only book a telephone appointment online, which is not what I need. So I tried to ring the surgery. After waiting on hold for 30 mins as "no.1 in the queue", I finally decided to walk over to the surgery. Three members of staff were there, none of them on the phone. Showed them I was on hold and they collectively shrugged their shoulders. No explanation, no apology. Begrudgingly, with their high and mighty demeanour, they gave me an appointment for 3 days' time. Dreadful.
