    My husband and I attended The Grange for our Covid injection, as our surgery was not doing them. We were both impressed and delighted with the efficiency of the service given. The staff were very pleasant and courteous, with necessary advice being given before the injection and afterwards. The flow of patients going in and out kept moving, so we didn't have to wait long. I was with a friend a few days later and we were sharing our experience with each other and she and her husband obviously felt the way we did. It was a very pleasant experience. Many thanks to all staff concerned.

    I start my call 8.56 to till 9.30 and they no pick up call then I cut my call and call again then they picked up, every time they no pick up call when 10 am they saying they fully booked.

    I've been feeling very poorly and was seen in A&E where I was given medication and provided with a list of follow up tests and treatment that I needed. Contacted The Grange at Hemsworth the following morning and was provided with an appointment for the afternoon. The appointment was with the ANP (Advanced Nurse Practitioner) who was so kind and compassionate, was able to order the tests that I needed plus some more tests that she felt would be useful and made a referral for me. I really felt that the ANP cares about her job, and the patients that she sees. The receptionist I spoke to on the phone was lovely and the receptionist I spoke to when I attended my appointment was lovely too and both were really helpful and got everything sorted out quickly. My husband attended the appointment with me and was also incredibly impressed. This was probably the best experience of the NHS that I have ever had.

    I asked the prescription team if they could combine the medication I receive. They had no issue doing this and did it quite quickly without issue. The team always listen to what I say on the prescription request comment page and recently arranged for a phone call to me to arrange a GP appointment. A very efficient and effective team. Thank you. In fact I highly recommend this GP practice as a whole.

    Never call back when they say they will or when they do they let it only ring twice then hang up no chance of even getting the phone out of my pocket, or they call me the times I say I’m unavailable. They cancel a blood test then I get blamed for not turning up to it, try to explain and I’m spoken over. Very rude and stressful dealing with this surgery. I have never known anything like it, they don’t seem to care.

    I called the surgery to make sure that they will be doing my referral for his blood sugar needles and insulin needles as well I been out on hold for half I need this prescription before Friday and this is not acceptable he is a new diabetic patient this surgery is absolutely ridiculous

    On hold for 25 mins and still no answer. I have been waiting for a doctor to phone me back since 9:00 this morning after my dad's carers phoned the doctors because he hasn't been well since 10pm the night before and still nothing. I have been told by my dad that he is on hold 30-40 minutes at a time and this is disgusting.

    I rang early in the morning about a problem I had Dr hawks well responded very quickly and a prescription was left at my chemist in the afternoon the service from the receptionist to the doctor is first class these are trying times and we all have to be a bit more patient I rang on the 12th of January but can not recall the lovely ladies name on reception as she was very kind thank you once again

    I cannot praise all staff at the Grange Medical Practise. Having moved into the area a year ago there had been the occasion when myself and members of my family have needed an appointment, be it telephone or face to face. Firstly, the receptionists are extremely pleasant, kind, polite and understanding. When telephoning the surgery a recorded message indicated where you are in the que and if you do not wish to hold they will return your call and you will not lose your place in the que. Monday morning will naturally be very busy after the weekend and are for urgent appointments. The great thing about this surgery is that you can ring at 8am and if available will be seen by a Doctor or receive a telephone consultation and similarly the same at 2pm. That system is so focused on the patient’s needs it is exemplary. During Covid I had to wait outside, quite rightly, of the surgery and take my place in a que to go in and hand my registration forms in, sadly, and very sadly I witnessed the receptionists being given verbal abuse. That is not acceptable, all of the staff have worked tirelessly and given their best in these dark times and they ought to be commended. The doctors and practice nurse that I have dealt with, and members of my family have been nothing short of amazing, working with such care and empathy, myself and my family would like thank each and every member of The Grange a huge thankyou. You ought to recognised for the care, concern and efficient way you run the practice. Again many thanks to one and all
