Today I got a call from Garden City surgery Letchworth asking me to contact them. I had been waiting for test results. When I finally got through I was told that I needed to see a doctor and nurse however when they looked to book an appointment there was no doctors one available so they told me to keep trying. I really am frustrated it took 30 minutes to get through this time and when I'm at work we are not allowed to make private calls so I won't be able to call for an appointment. They then told me to do an e consult but by the time I get out of work in the afternoon these are all full too. Surely if they want you to have an appointment they should allocate one before they call you. I just don't know when I'll be able to see the doctor and I'm worried about the results now.

I waited two hours on the phone calling at 8:15. Told them it was urgent and I needed to get back to work. A receptionist takes the call and they are not good. I put a call back the call back came at 12 p.m. that was late. Not good service. I have not seen a GP for 7 years I only see a Nurse.

was i pain needed a prescription for the pain am old..went to surgery 4 desk people there told no cant get a prescription for the chemist to give me what i needed told to go QE hospital miles away too ill to drive .cant wait to leave here and go where the doctors actually help u. been a patient there for 25 yrs .

After waiting 45 mins I get through on phone to be cut off I go up to surgery to get an appointment after being diagnosed with pneumonia the previous week at hospital which the doctor sent me too. I tried to explain that I need to see a doctor who can follow up the hospital visit the receptionist’ didn’t listen and dismissed my request and just said a doctor will call me sometime today they weren’t bothered that I’ve had this for over a month and it’s showing no signs of going. I’ve phoned up 3 weeks running and get the same rubbish service.

I had an appointment with a midwife today in the afternoon. I had a discussion with them about how quiet it is in surgery. They were saying Covid on the rise. I said well I’m visiting the dentist an no problem. Face mask on regularly. They looked like they quite enjoyed the quiet an I was shocked they only see emergencies only. An when I asked can I have a glass of water please as I was dehydrated they said no. We don’t have any. But when I went into the midwife appointment she went an got me a glass. I’m absolutely disgusted by the lack of help from the receptions an they couldn’t be bothered to help. God help anyone who actually needs urgent help their. Really disgusting service. I hope someone from the surgery replies as this is unacceptable.
