  1. Review titled Poor practice

Ordered a repeat prescription on Wednesday through the NHS app. Checked Friday and it still had not been approved. I called in Friday lunch time to check to see if there was a problem ordering it. Receptionist said due to staff going down with COVID they are short staffed. She said my prescription would be ready for collection on Saturday. I've checked the app Saturday morning and still showing awaiting approval. This Service just isn't good enough.

  2. Review titled Terrible surgery

This place has become a laughing stock among local people, since becoming part of the Forge health group!Getting an appt is nigh on impossible,& thats only if you can even get through on the phone. Hubby trying to get an appt, gets call back.. gets given an appt yeey???. Nope... 9pm at Middlewood!!! Thats right a pensioner, from Wincobank with lung illness...is being sent to Middlewood at 9pm!!!... This surgery has become more than a laughing stock,it is an embarrasment to this area,& needs sorting out properly before patients start leaving in droves...Forge Health Group & The Flowers Health Center should hang their heads in shame!

Went in Wednesday face to face to make an appointment for today, when I got there they said you have no appointment, I have the card that the receptionist gave me, said they would fit me in waited 1 hour and walked out. If I had come for appointment 1 hour late would they have seen me????? Do they think you have nothing matter to do?????

You phone at 8:30am and it says lines are full all the time it’s a nightmare and then when you get there on phone to them they say they have no appointments left and tell you to ring tomorrow then the problem repeats it’s self

  5. Review titled Nightmare getting through to get an appointment

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Since merging with Pitsmoor surgery trying to get an appointment is so difficult! They have recently changed from ask my GP which was a great service to having ring to ring at 8:30 to get an appointment however you can’t join the que as they only accept so many a time! Getting cut off after listening to all the spiel is so frustrating, especially when you’re unwell yourself or have a crying unwell baby. It is so mentally draining, not everyone has half an hour to ring to get cut off. It took me 26 times on the latest occasion to join the que then I was still number 9 in the que. I’m dreading returning back to work from maternity because if I ever need the doctors I will not be able to spend half an hour trying. After saying all of this on my recent visits for immunisations for my baby the staff are all really friendly and caring from the receptionist to the nurses. I just wish there was a better system in place to get through!

  6. Review titled Just Awful

Rated 1 star out of 5

I’ve been trying to get an appointment to see a doctor and it’s impossible. They’ve stopped the askmygp service so you can’t speak to a doctor online and you have to call at 8:30 but when you ring there’s an automated message saying there are no appointments and it’s like this everyday. How can you run a medical practise and not be allowing anyone to see a doctor? I actually don’t understand how this is happening. This is an absolute disgrace and shame on the staff and doctors for allowing this to happen. There are people who need medical care and access to see their GP who are just completely unable to do so. This practise should be closed immediately and all patients should be transferred to a doctors practise who are actually able to make appointments and see patients. What an absolute disgrace.

  7. Review titled Rude and unprofessional

Rated 1 star out of 5

Issues with prescriptions. The pharmacist is rude and for some reason really doesn’t seem to like me. I’m contacting NHS England and the CQC. I teach NHS students and if a student spoke to a patient like I’ve been spoken I would send them home and inform the university. 25 years with the surgery and talked to like dirt and treated like a junkie. I’m taking this as far as it will go. Appalling.

  8. Review titled Absolutely shocking

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Abby - Posted on 01 July 2022

Was trying to contact the doctors for 3days each time couldn’t get through the automated messages, then when I did was Waiting on hold for over 2hrs to get through to a receptionist to be told no appointments available, I only wanted a sick note for my job but I had to ring back the following day for the exact same to happen! There is no getting through to this practice it’s the worst practice I’ve ever know. Absolutely disgusting attitude from the very rude receptionist.

  9. Review titled Rude staff, extremely poor service

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Ghazal - Posted on 13 May 2022

I was in the queue for more than 20 mins after wasn’t able to make an appointment online. When I got chance to speak to the receptionist she refused to talk and said she doesn’t understand my accent. In another occasion I’ve asked them to provide me with a letter for early covid jab, they refused and said they have nothing to do with jabs and covid. In several occasions I’ve made telephone appointment with GPs and waited all day for their call however they never contacted me. Really unhappy and I had to change my gp practice.
