I am always able to get an appointment same day through the klinik online system. Doctor was very thorough and felt very listened to and happy with the suggested treatment

Initially I was very pleased and relieved with the speed of getting an appointment, but unfortunately I was very disheartened with my experience with the GP locum I saw. I am a nurse and I don't expect GPs to know everything, I am deeply supportive of the NHS and all its staff and no how challenging current times are, but care, compassion and understanding cost nothing. It took a lot for me to make my appointment, I always try to do everything I can to help myself and I felt extremely unwell. I was feeling very dizzy and nauseous when I arrived at the surgery. The GP had no eye contact with me at any point throughout the appointment, just looked at her computer screen, did not appear to listen to the symptoms I was struggling to tell her about, which were due to terrible vestibular migraines and which I was wanting support, help and advice with. Having taken my pulse and blood pressure 107 and 158/78 she told me she would refer me for an ECG. I asked why, telling her my pulse was normally 84 and that I had my BP taken twice at local pharmacies and had been told it was OK and that it was most likely raised because I felt so stressed and exhausted. I had thought I might at least have left the practice feeling heard and understood and with a little bit of hope, but I left feeling bruised and battered. I burst into tears on my husband and said I don't ever want to see her again and I want to change practice. I have written this review because I hope the practice will read it and want to improve the experience for other users. I rarely complain, because I know there are many fantastic practitioners out there, but I feel strongly that the person I saw needs to have their practice, challenged and supported to improve.

I’ve been a patient of this practice since 2008. To say that the level of service and medical care was substandard before the management of the practice was taken over would have been an massive understatement. However, I can’t believe the improvement since this practice has been taken under new management. It’s literally day and night! The staff is so much more proactive, helpful and caring. Since the take over I’ve experienced great service from the medical staff as well as from the administrative staff. The receptionist has gone beyond and above to help me solve an urgent problem. she then helped me again on two other occasions. I had a great one to one discussion with the surgery pharmacist- which I didn’t even know that had before the take over- perhaps they didn’t. All in all I can’t believe the improvement at this GP practice. For the 1st time I feel that I can actually trust them with my health.
