    This practice has been a disgrace since it moved to dove Dale Road. With miss ups with prescriptions to wasting peoples time with the wrong information and this is just two peoples experiences god only knows how many others have had to endure this. Then there is the problem of getting through on the phone and getting an appointment. Some thing needs doing about it urgently.

    I moved to this practice after moving to the local area. It has always been a game trying to get an appointment and I can't say I have ever smoothly got an appointment. Every morning that I ring at 8am, I am told the phone lines are full and to call back. This morning as an example I had rang 20 times to be on hold for 20 minutes and then cut off. I had also rang to speak to the Practice Manager twice, I was told they would return my call but 3 days later and I have not heard from them. I had a blood test done, nobody had rang to tell me my results had been received, I rang them to find out I need a consultation. Since my blood test was 3 weeks ago, I have not been able to book an appointment. Very unreliable, I wouldn't be recommending this practice to anybody, especially if you are hopping for a swift and no delay process.

    Tried to get an appointment today, calls wouldn't connect before 8am, after 8am it was either engaged or gave a message saying the call queue was full and to call at a time when it was less busy. Finally got into the queue. 2hrs and 15 mins of holding later I was 1st in queue, then at 2hrs 41mins the call just cut off. Rang back and was suddenly 10th in the queue where I remain after 15minutes of holding. I'm immunocompromised and also suffering from a severe chest infection else I would have gone in person to get an appointment (which is apparently the only sure-fire way of getting one). In addition to this they were unable to update a prescription even after going in and giving them a copy of the letter from my consultant (which it turns out they already had). I also asked for a copy of my medical records for me to apply for PIP and it turns out that half my medical records were somebody else's, I supplied the corrections and they lost them, I resupplied the corrections and they lost them again. To my knowledge they still have incorrect records. Needless to say I couldn't apply for PIP. Stay away from this surgery. If it wasn't for the incorrect records and their apparent inability to correct them I'd be looking to leave them (but can't until they are fixed).

    I have tried and tried to phone this surgery for medication for OAP who has not long come out of hospital and house bound. The phone just rings out and never get answered or its ingaged untill it's their dinner time between 12 pm And 1pm . It's very poor to sort medication out for OAP

    The worst gp practice. I have tried to book a appointment for my daughter who’s 1year old and after waiting 40 min on the line they hung up. I booked a phone call for the morning without teling me an hour when they wil call . I was working so they called 2 time in les then 30 seconds . So i have lost the apointment . You cannot book an apointment for next day and if you take the day off hoping to see a doctor is a slim chance and you loose dais from work and you don’t see a doctor either.

The practice has high demand and the call waiting time can vary, we ensure all phones are answered as promptly as possible. I am pleased that you got an appointment for your daughter, patients are not given a call back time as the doctors have to assess each patient on need and we also allow for emergencies, we do recommend that patients keep their phone with them and at least 2 calls are made.     I had an appointment with a HCA today and I am absolutely delighted with the appointment and how I was treated today - she was very careful with what she is doing and informed me what she is going to do at every step. She also answered my questions that I had which I appreciated. I then spoke to a receptionist with a question who again was lovely and friendly who answered my query promptly. Overall, I had a pleasant experience today.

    GP messed about not referring me to a professional regarding the lump that had developed on my lip. Went for advice from my dentist, urgent referral to Birmingham dental hospital. Appointment came through for 8 days later. Saw Consultant yesterday, urgent treatment today. . Not impressed with the surgery at all

    I get it they have a telephone triage system in place. To start with it is difficult to get through to practice in the morning. I walked in and booked appointment for my daughter and I was told telephone triage for the afternoon. Around 430pm I rang surgery back as I had no call and I was told I was still on schedule for the call and it will be anytime before 630. No call received on that day. Next day I rang in, no call, managed to book appointment using 111 service and was told to expect call in 2hrs. 2hrs later no call, I rang surgery to enquire. Asked also why I had no call back day before. I heard the most pathetic lie that the doctor had tried to ring me twice yesterday (apparently first attempt about 338hrs)and I did not answer my phone. Bear in mind I had my phone in my hand all day not wanting to miss the call. I even contacted surgery about 430,wasnt told of the first attempt but only that the doctor was yet to call me. Receptionist is now telling me there is something wrong with my mobile network, which I know for sure there isn't. I've even checked with my network out of curiosity and they told me there's no bar to my phone so there must something wrong with surgery phone lines. Bear in mind I'm calling on behalf of a child who's been in distress almost two weeks now. A week ago, I took my daughter in, doctor then spoke nicely to me after I identified myself as a health professional. Doctor then said if no improvement ring back then whatever doctor there will see what they can do, hence I'm here now. I also work in health and I know the pressures but the response from Dove medical is appalling
