    I have a serious inner ear infection which 111 have said needs to be seen urgently. Apparently a two week wait is acceptable because’That is what the Doctor said’. I am at my wits end. Have now paid to go privately- since the changes the De Pays Group are not able to offer an acceptable service. I hardly ever go to the Doctors and will from now on just go to casualty.

    Waiting to receive specific paperwork relating to my medical records. SLA states 28 days. Waited 9 weeks so far for medical secretaries to process. Extremely frustrating.

  3. Review titled Prescription service very slow

    I am on strong painkillers which cannot be stopped unless dosage gradually reduced. I need to stay on the high dose until after my operation. I have requested a further prescription & it has not been actioned 5 days later.

    Today not one but two outstanding members of the Deparys team stepped in and went above and beyond to sort out my time sensitive issue. I am so grateful for their quick and efficient help especially late on a Friday afternoon. The reception team definitely saved my day.

    Was seen for a physio consultation. Very helpful and knowledgeable lady. She thought I needed to see a GP. I was offered an appointment that same day. Saw a lovely GP who was so thorough and helpful. Very happy with the care given. Lovely Receptionists at Enhanced Centre too. Very friendly and helpful. Thank you to everyone.

  6. Review titled Triage - a very poor experience with online form

    I wish to share my experience trying to use the new Triage system for the deParys Group. I diligently filled out the Triage form in a vague hope I might be seen by a practitioner only to get to the end and get the message "invalid session" If you want to send people to a new service - please make sure it works!

    I recently had an asthma flare-up following a chest infection and attended an appointment with a pharmacist at the practice who was absolutely brilliant. She was attentive, warm and kind, and took the time to discuss all the options with me, answer my questions and show me how to use the new inhaler I was prescribed. Later that day, I had to call back to ensure the prescription was sent over to my pharmacy before the weekend. The receptionist I spoke to was incredibly helpful and she went above and beyond to get my prescription issued for me. Thanks to her diligence I was able to get my inhaler quickly and I've been able to get some proper sleep free of asthma symptoms for the first time in 2 weeks. I am so appreciative of all your help, thank you so much to the De Parys team.

  8. Review titled Rubbish practice

    Where do I start!!! A GP gets me to use the dining room type chair I was sitting on to get up on the examination bed because it couldn’t be lowered and there was no step to use. I then had to get off the bed unassisted and carry the chair back to the desk while the doctor is just sitting there. Given my age and medical problems I was flabbergasted. Different error…..on the10th April ,as arranged by the GP, I was asked to send in blood pressure readings via the link but when I attempted to use the link it said it had expired!!! If they want 7 days readings they need to keep the link open long enough!!! Another error….on 16th April I was due to have a phone call appointment, which a doctor had asked for. About an hour before the appointment was due I got a phone call to say the doctor wasn’t available so the appointment was moved to the afternoon. About an hour or so after the new appointment time I hadn’t heard anything so I phoned the surgery only to be told I did not attend my appointment……why would I be attending my appointment when it was supposed to be over the phone. By this time I’m livid and ask that the did not attend was taken off my record but as of now it is still on there. Eventually a doctor phoned and said they couldn’t see my econsult, well they wouldn’t would they, because It was the surgery that asked to speak to me so I hadn’t done an e-consult obviously!!!!! They didn’t have a clue as to what they were supposed to be speaking to me about . All this has happened in the space of a few weeks. Most contact with this surgery causes so much frustration it reduces me to tears. They don’t know who you are, why you’re in contact with them and don’t seem to ever look at your medical history. Far too many mistakes and so much incompetence!!!

  9. Review titled Great GP Practice.

    My experience with the GP has been heart warming. He has been my GP for a significant period and has always acted on all my needs promptly. His focus on my medical problems made me realise that continuity of seeing the same GP for any problem is the most important asset for me. This has prompted me to write that all the patients of De Parys GPs must have continuity for any ailments. This allows for knowledge to be retained within the Surgery for returning patients. In my discussion with the GP on my issue this was highlighted and generally agreed. Great job all the GPs. I'm proud to belong to the De Parys Group.

  10. Review titled Church Lane Reception Staff

    Because of my husband's health condition I have had to pester the reception staff on more than a few occasions to help sort any prescription queries or appointments etc. They have always managed to help me out and are so lovely about it as a few times these issues are because I've forgotten to issue a prescription on time for example! Or they have done everything they can to get a suitable appointment for my husband. There is one particular receptionist who remembers me too which is a rare thing lately. I hope they get some positive recognition for what must be such a stress full position to be in. Thankyou!
