I contacted the Croft surgery in Eastergate for a family member in crisis on a Friday afternoon. The response and kindness shown was extraordinary and so gratefully received at a time of huge anxiety and fear. Thank you all very much.

I really felt compelled to leave a review as unfortunately I have had to have a few dealings with the surgery recently and I have to say each and every time has been outstanding! I really consider myself lucky as you hear all these stories about surgeries but I have to say I have had nothing but excellent service everytime….from dealing with the lovely and very helpful ladies on reception to the nurses and lthe GP”s. They have all been fabulous. I would like to thank them all.

I have been with The Croft Surgery for a number of years now and continue to be impressed with their level of service and patient care. Everyone at the surgery does their best to help you and make you feel valued. Amazing receptionists and office team, wonderful nurses and outstanding doctors. The system operated at the surgery is one that works as they put the patient at the centre of all they do. The whole team work hard to make this a great place and I would recommend them to anyone.

I changed surgery due to just being dismissed as overweight by my previous GP, who couldn't care less about me. The Croft surgery have been amazing. They've taken me seriously, they've always given me appointments when needed. They're getting me through the most difficult time in my life, with grace and care. It's rare you find a surgery where every doctor has treated you like a human being, but they do at The Croft. The reception staff are polite and efficient. The GP's have lovely bedside manner and genuinely seem to care. Check through your history before you go in. Do not make you feel like you are wasting their time. Cannot rate them highly enough.

Telephone system only offers 2 options - practice appointments/receptionist or home appointments. At 9.15 was 17th in the queue to cancel an appointment (32 mins on hold). Persevered but can see why others don't bother. They need to have a line for cancelling appointments and also one for general enquiries, otherwise get set up on the NHS app.

Thank you for your review. We are working on launching an app called airmid that will allow patients to manage their appointments online. This will include booking, cancelling and viewing results. It should be live within the next 4-6 weeks.

My one year old son recently had heart surgery and the aftercare from the Croft has been second to none. From routine stitch removal to an emergency appointment, I was treated with care, compassion and respect. My son was not rushed, or scared. They even made sure he was given his immunisation at the same time so we did need to return. I am so pleased to have such a professional GP service on my doorstep. Thank you The Croft!

I visited the Croft recently, and I have to say since it has been taken over by new management the place has really improved. The Reception Team are kind, patient and informative. Appointments seem to be more readily available, remote ones via phone too. Nice to finally have some good service and care available to us in Eastergate.

Fortunately I do not need to visit my GP practice too often, but today I had an appointment and whilst booking in I was able to make a separate appointment on the day for a phone consultation facilitated very well by the reception. Once in with the nurse she was excellent in talking me through the procedure and very skilful with the blood collection needle! At a time when the NHS is struggling, I found the Croft practice in Barnham really helpful and specifically patient focused.

Very difficult getting through via telephone Wife had to drive to surgery to make appointment only to receive a telephone appointment late evening and was told if that concerned go to a&e.
