My doctor and the whole reception are amazing. I was given an appointment the same day and I’m so grateful to my Doctor who really is a person who cares and is very thorough, I couldn’t fault anyone here at Cedars in Maidenhead. Absolutely brilliant service.

I saw a GP this morning to discuss my recent stay in hospital. I knew he was very competent but expected a quick chat with a busy doctor. In fact it was far more than that. He went through everything in the hospital report very clearly and took the time to demonstrate how I could watch for symptoms that might mean I needed to contact the surgery.He was very professional, but at the same time warm and friendly. This was in complete contrast to the hospital, where I was very well treated, but staff had very little time to explain anything. I now have a clearer picture of my condition, and appreciate the time he took to make sure I understood everything, although there was a very full waiting room.

As someone who works for the NHS themselves as a nurse practitioner (both in A&E and in primary care) I understand the pressures. I cannot explain how wonderful this surgery has been. I registered earlier this year and asked for a routine (expecting two month wait) appointment for acne and was seen within three weeks. I am currently pregnant and have had a few problems with bleeding, hyperemesis and deranged bloods. I have been given appointments regarding this either the same day or next day despite putting a request on E/-Consult as a non urgent request. The doctors and ANP I have seen have been amazing. Efficient, caring and kind- to the point where when i was vomiting a lot and keen to avoid hospital admission the doctor i saw advised me to take my newly prescribed medicine from the pharmacy and come back to sit in the surgery for 30 mins (where I would be visible) to make sure I could tolerate them. Cedars has been absolutely exemplary and I am so grateful to you all. Thank you.
