Review titled Post Covid-its Dire
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 28 March 2023
They insist you do an online e-consult form-which is only available during surgery hours-because "We would be swamped if it were open longer" Getting an appointment is near impossible for anything not an emergency, and even for childrens appointment they now only offer a paramedic. This was once a great surgery but they are struggling to cope now. I was refused a repeat prescription because the tablets prescribed by a consultant were "Too expensive, and there is no cheaper option" Eventually sorted after long email chains with Albion, Consultant etc. My partner is registered at a nearby practice that is back to normal-I will be transferring

Thank you for your feedback. We have a range of appointments daily that include acute on the day appointments, routine appointments and telephone appointments. We predominately prefer to see our patients face to face and will triage to ensure that our patients are given the most appropriate type of appointment with an appropriate clinician. Please contact me to discuss any concerns you have further so that they can be investigated. Thank you - The Practice Manager

Review titled Gone downhill
Rated 1 star out of 5

Very difficult to get an actual appointment, they seem to still think its the pandemic-video calls are offered or possibly a phone call and even then only after a long e consult form. Appointments offered were with a nurse or paramedic? What's that about-supposed to be a doctors surgery not an ambulance station

Review titled Take forever to answer calls
Rated 1 star out of 5

I was on hold during my lunchtime, from 1:15pm. I held on for 40minutes. I was number 9 in the queuing system the hold time I was on hold, which lead me to believe, all calls are just left on hold whilst staff eat their lunch!! Disgusting service,

Thank you for your review. I would like to reassure you that the phones lines are open from 8.00am until 6.30pm every day and are not switched off during a lunch period. We now have a call back facility for patients which has received positive feedback and saves patients having to wait on the phone.

Review titled Take forever to pick up calls
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 17 October 2022
I waited exactly 54 mins for someone to answer my call. I was number 10 when I first dialled and there is no way it takes this long to get down a list of 10 people. Absolutely ridiculous. Patients are clearly being put on hold and forgotten about. I hung up in the end and will either call again tomorrow or go there physically if it means getting help sooner.

Review titled Unfriendly & Rude
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 05 October 2022
Was rudely spoken to by the receptionists who maybe shouldn't deal with the public. Not only rude to myself but the elderly woman ahead of me. After asking for an appointment was told you have to do an e consult/triage. I asked why and was informed that it's been like this since covid

Review titled Very Sick. Refused an Appointment
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 15 June 2022
My questions about booking an appointment were not only ignored but I was told 'You can't see a doctor' while trying to explain that their online platform has repeatedly failed. Their website claims that appointments can be made over the phone but the counter staff very strongly refute this and merely repeated that the only way is to use their website, add that 'It's been that way for 2 years' as if that was a reasonable excuse to refuse a seriously ill patient any form of care or assistance. In trying to explain my situation and ask what I was supposed to do, I was just told 'Sorry'.

Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with the service. I would like to confirm that patients are directed to our website to complete an e-Consult form with details of their symptoms, this is then sent to the clinical team and triaged by our duty doctors who will arrange for the most appropriate appointment. If our patients do not have access to a computer, our team can offer to take details over the telephone if the patient is willing to give their details to a receptionist. Please contact me if you would like to discuss this matter further. Mrs Wilson - Practice Manager
