I requested that the results of a blood test I had on Tuesday 23rd of April conducted at the local hospital available for me online. The response did not address this question

I have been with this practice for nearly 70 years and I have never known it so poor. I was instructed by my GP to book an appointment for myself and my Wife the following day. I came down to the practice and spoke to the receptionist who firmly advised me that what my GP had requested was unreasonable and after searching the book advised me the best they could do for me and my Wife ( who is Terminally ill ) was 3 weeks. What has this wonderful practice come to. Roy Bird

Telephoned the practice just after 8.00 am and receptionist arranged a telephone appointment for me. GP called me back before 9.00 am and was very helpful. He sent a prescription straight away to the pharmacy. Couldn’t have asked for better service.

Most of the doctors have left after long years of service and now every time I go, I see someone different who I have never met before. It takes ages to get through on the telephone, the reception staff are rude and the doctors always run late for appointments. The doctors are thorough and good in my opinion but you don't see that person again so there is no relationship building and each appointment takes ages because they have to read through notes to get a feel for your medical history. It's such a shame - the practice used to be great.

Called at 8am phone answered immediately, extremely helpful receptionist, booked me a face to face appointment for this morning, saw a wonderful GP, took her time, very caring, very through and sympathetic to my poorly daughter, went over and above to help her and me, follow up appointment booked again face to face next week. Called again later due to change in symptoms, had great advice from the receptionist who called me straight back with advice from the GP, had wonderful service to all involved in my daughters care today. Thank you all for taking your time and looking after my daughter. I work in the NHS and it’s very quick to criticise, and easy not to leave good feedback, it’s a very tough job right now and you should all be really proud of the care and support you have given to me and my family. Thank You

Used to love my surgery but now they don't seem to care about us at all. Rude and unhelpful reception staff, all they want you to do is ring at 8 in the morning and when you do finally get through you are subjected to a 20 minute recorded message which hasn't been changed for 2 years. One phone line and no email address. You are offered a telephone consultation in two weeks time. My telephone consultation was on a crackly mobile with someone I had never heard of - agreed to see me the next day at 3.20 on Friday which I repeated twice. Got out of my sick bed to attend my appointment only to be told the unknown Dr. had put my appointment down for 1.20 and I had missed it! He was no longer there (half day or doing his paper work?) and was told by the receptionist to ring at 8 on Monday. After never being late or missing an appointment in the last 15 years, could the receptionist/GP not have called to check why? I could have been there in 5 mins or maybe I was lying dead at home and maybe they could have checked? Very disappointing.
