  1. Review titled Don’t bother!

Rated 1 star out of 5

I don’t know what happened to Hollies but it’s gone ridiculously down hill fast! 45 minutes to finally get though only to be told by the extremely rude receptionist that there isn’t any appointments. You can’t book your smear test in as again you can’t get though or when you do, the appointment has to suit the receptionist rather than the individual. Doctors don’t want to see you and would rather pass every think on to nurse for them to consult the doctor and what the best treatment is! Needs serious improvement!

17.5.2023 = We went to Tamworth House Medical Centre GP clinic, so worried with a possibility of a breast cancer scare and my HB pressure + ongoing hernia issues, we were seen by one of the Doctors who was so calming, reassuring, professional, friendly and indeed well knowledgeable. didn't rush us, gave us extra time and we left quite calm and very appreciative. Thank you Tamworth House Medical Centre for your good service and quick assistance. Thanks to the Doctor who seen us , you are just extraordinary and heavenly!!

  3. Review titled Down hill gp

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Kirstie - Posted on 03 May 2023

Took over an hour to get through in the morning to be told there are no appointments available even though I have tonsillitis with a fever, it took for my chemist to email them that I need to be seen to get antibiotics and even then they were reluctant to give me an appointment and was gonna make me call the next morning. They also never have any appointments available online and the receptionist can be quite rude when trying to get an appointment or they use a new protocol to assess your needs when there isn’t any available appointments which just ends up them suggesting you call 999 for an ambulance for non a&e illnesses like sinusitis.

Dear Patient, I'm sorry to hear that our team did not meet your expectations. We highly value all feedback from patients and use this to learn from errors or instances where communications and patient encounters have not been to our patient's satisfaction. We are very disappointed with the difficulty you described trying to get through the practice via the telephone and getting appointments. We have extra staff during our busiest times to improve our telephone pick up time. We are also, constantly working with our reception team to improve our quality of service and your feedback referencing reception attitude will be used as part of our regular staff training. To understand and make improvements we recommend you contact the practice with your details so we can investigate this further. We apologise your experience has been negative, and hope clarity on the system we have in place will help you with similar queries in the future. Yours sincerely, Practice manager
