Was nice to see a Doctor in person after such a long time. Doctor very pleasant, helpful and reassuring. Left feeling much relieved.

My wife and myself have both required visits to the centre in the past couple of weeks for appointments with the nurse and face to face with a Doctor for what I considered could be a complex consultation that he made quite straightforward. Our experience from both makes us really appreciate how fortunate we are to be registered with Tadcaster medical Centre.

Been fortunate to have good health. But had two small issues recently and they have responded very quickly and have been really excellent. Very fortunate to be registered with them.

Over recent months I have received one to one care backed up with a very helpful staff throughout the whole practice. I have felt valued and well cared for ! Doctors have been patient and have been wonderful! Every stage of ongoing treatment has been carried out effectively and efficiently. I have been part of the whole process! I can’t speak highly enough about this practice!

All staff - Drs , nurses , and receptionists all very quick in getting back to you and arranging appointments and providing a first class service, arranging prescriptions, and their prompt issue and follow ups where appropriate. The call back system works very well and is very re assuring. Thank you very much it is all appreciated- and especially in the current climate. Excellent service.

Amazingly kind and swift help from the receptionist and ANP this week. I can't believe the speed with which my call was dealt with, the appointment an hour later, along with a fast referral onwards. Thank you.

After waiting on the phone line for over an hour and a half to speak to a receptionist I was informed that they couldnt see me in practice for a simple matter even though I said I could do any day and any time and didnt require to see a doctor. When I questioned what I should do as the treatment needed wasnt urgent but had to happen they suggested that I go to a&e. The receptionist was rude uncaring and disrespectful. She said to me 'what do you want me to do about it' and other unhelpful things. I was left in tears on the phone and she said 'I have other calls to take, you need to go now' Appalling!

We are sorry you are unhappy with the service you received. We note that this review is anonymous and would encourage you to contact us directly so that we can investigate further. All our calls are recorded to ensure that patients receive the standard of care we expect from our team so we will be able to identify the staff member concerned once we have your name and phone number. The majority of our calls are answered in under 5 minutes, with over 40% in August being answered within a minute. We cannot find any example of the queue wait approaching anywhere near the time you mention. We can take this issue up with our supplier if you contact us direct. This is absolutely the best surgery I have ever been to! They are friendly, responsive and kind and I have been extremely impressed with the quality of care I have received. The online form has been amazing - whenever I have had a non urgent request, I have filled out the form and have always had a response back the same working day with either a prescription, information or a phone call. I would recommend this surgery 1000 times over!
